Placement Camp at NSIC-Technical Services Centre, Rajpura
NSIC-Technical Services Centre, Rajpura, organized a Placement camp on 9th August 2024 at its Centre NSIC –TSC D-82/83, Focal Point ,Rajpura (Pb) ,140401. In this Placement Camp, 8 companies participated to select suitable trained manpower and more than 158 PMKVY 4.0 scheme passed out candidates participated in this placement camp. These companies preliminary selected/shortlisted 64 candidates, who will be called for final selection to their respective units.
In the inaugural function Sh. Rajesh Jain, Senior General Manager, NTSC Rajpura, stated that this Centre has been imparting Skill Development Training to the youth of the area under various schemes of State & Central Government since last 30 years in conventional courses like Fashion Machine Operator, Beautician, Computer application and Accounting and in Hi-Tech courses like Electrician, Computer Web Designing, CNC Operator, Programming, PLC SCADA, Autocad Designing, Digital Marketing etc as per the changing need of the industry.
Shri Baldeep Singh, Block Development and Panchayat Office, Rajpura, Chief Guest for the event, emphasized on the importance of Skill Development training for Employment & Self-Employment to support unemployed youth and assured that all Sarpanches and panchayat secretaries would be instructed to to spread awareness in their villages so that the beneficiaries take maximum benefit from these Government Skill Training programs.
Prominent companies present in today’s placement camp were Mrs. Bectors Food Specilities (Cremica), Nykka, PNG, Softcore solutions, Fusiontech Innovations, Dhiman Computers, Silk Road Enterprise, Ascon Engg. Industries shared the skill set needed from job seekers and expressed the need to work hard and with dedication for having a long term career.
