Life is all about the next step!
"After pursuing my Btech from the University of Mumbai, like many I had a dream to l pursue my higher studies and become a successful businessman. So I decided to do my MS from the USA. With that dream in place, I decided to take a gap of one year and study hard. I still remember every day that I spent that year was long, stressful and horrible because all my friends were either getting into colleges or getting a new job. And here I was taking a big risk.. The start itself was rough and I scored less in GRE due to which I did not get a single college admit, but still, it's the dream what you live for, I did not give up.. I gave another try for the fall semester, which meant six more months of home arrest and doing absolutely nothing except waiting for the admits. My family, peers would not say anything in front of me, but they laughed behind my back because I was wasting one year of life by doing nothing. But as they say, God always has some bigger, better plans for you. I was very firm that I will not give up my decision. And bang on, I got an admit from the Texas A&M University, which was my dream college. My happiness knew no bounds, I felt I was on top of the world that day with that exhilaration. Now the only part left was Visa approval. I went for the Visa interview and my Visa got rejected not once, but twice. There went my dream from its peak in the dark valley.
FAIL FAIL FAIL! Those were the only words I could hear everywhere. My whole world shattered in front of me that time as I had failed in everything even after colossal efforts. I remained determined, not to let go of my dreams and stayed positive. In the meanwhile, I tried for my Masters in India itself from a renowned university for my stream. Then came the most crucial day of my life: Third visa attempt. If that attempt would have been successful I could go to the USA. But the same disaster repeated and I had failed yet again. But believe me, Miracles do happen, at the same day I got the news that I got selected for Masters in India from that university. And yes, that was the moment when I realized, we should never lose hope in our life and always keep trying. I scored and excelled in both my semesters during my Masters. And today I am doing my internship from Reliance. I am really happy that I didn't give up when I did not succeed once."
My message to all the young people out there in their struggling phase would be: It does not matter how many times you get knocked out, what matters is how many times you get up. Life is all about the next step."
