Students and youth of the country have been protesting on the streets for months against the paper leaks, exam mismanagement and lack of accountability in the education sector. They have been rightfully demanding the resignation of the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who is responsible for such failures. Famous environmentalist and scientist Sonam Wangchuk along with other students have been sitting on hunger strike for the past 17 days. The shameless, irresponsible central government hasn't even tried to have a dialogue with the protesters, but on the contrary, the education minister has even called them terrorists!

Enough is enough. Citizens of the country won't tolerate this. Tomorrow as protestors at Jantar Mantar are going on a mass hunger strike, DYFI will join them in solidarity and shall organize protest gatherings across India in solidarity with the ongoing movement.
