𝗞𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝗬𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟱: The sacred 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗴 𝗬𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 concluded successfully today after four days of devotion, discipline and seamless coordination among all stakeholders. 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲, which was completed safely and smoothly despite the challenging terrain and unpredictable Himalayan weather.
The pilgrimage route from 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶 falls under the jurisdiction of 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, while the stretch from 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 falls under 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗺.
The Yatra commenced from 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘃 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. On the first day, the pilgrims travelled approximately 𝟵𝟵 𝗸𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, where they halted for the night.
On the second day, the yatris proceeded 𝟮𝟲 𝗸𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, followed by an 𝟭𝟭 𝗸𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽.
On the third day, the pilgrims embarked early from Sari Camp on a challenging 𝟭𝟳 𝗸𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲. After offering prayers and seeking blessings at the holy site, the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗴, symbolising patriotism and national unity amid the majestic Himalayan landscape.
The return journey commenced on the fourth day with an 𝟭𝟭 𝗸𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, followed by a 𝟭𝟮𝟱 𝗸𝗺 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, marking the successful completion of the four-day pilgrimage.
Throughout the Yatra, comprehensive arrangements were put in place to ensure the safety, security and well-being of the devotees. The yatris expressed their gratitude for the well-coordinated arrangements, robust security measures, medical and safety preparedness, and warm hospitality extended to them during the pilgrimage.
The successful conduct of the Yatra was made possible through exceptional teamwork and close coordination among J&K Police District Reasi, Civil Administration, Indian Army, Kulgam Police, CRPF, CISF, NDRF, SDRF, Village Defence Guards (VDGs) and other civil and security agencies.
The coordinated efforts of security forces, administrative teams, volunteers and local stakeholders ensured the safe, secure and smooth movement of devotees across the challenging pilgrimage route.
Despite difficult terrain and changing weather conditions, the coordinated deployment and continuous support of all agencies ensured that the yatris completed their spiritual journey safely and without any major hindrance.
The 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗴 𝗬𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 will be remembered as a successful example of dedication, discipline, inter-agency coordination and spirit of service, ensuring that devotees experienced a safe, peaceful and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage.
