HG volunteers training w.e.f. 02.02.2026 to 26.03.2026

As mandated in the Compendium of Instruction and in order to enhance the operational efficiency, discipline and to ensure that a trained reserve pool of Home Guards Volunteers are kept in readiness, all Home Guards Volunteers who had enrolled from 2010 upto 2022 are directed to attend refresher training course to be conducted by DTC Home Guards Resubelpara in the coming days. As such, they are hereby directed to report to DTC to enrol for said course.

Upon the successful completion of the refresher course such volunteers shall be retained in the reserve period of 3 (three) years, after the expiry of which they shall mandatorily undergo further refresher course for the renewal of their reserve status.

Failing to attend the refresher course shall render the Home Guards volunteers in-eligible for engagement as security guard for duties in the Government Departments or other requisitioning agencies and shall be discharged as Home Guards Volunteers as per Rule 8 of the Assam Home Guards Act, 1947.
