The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with pride at the RAF 2nd Battalion and the 2nd IR Battalion, emphasizing the importance of the Indian Constitution and its core values.
The occasion paid tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters and security personnel, reaffirming the forces’ commitment to national unity, integrity, and constitutional duty.

The monthly Darbar Parade and Welfare Board Meeting of RAF 2nd Battalion and 2nd IRBn were held today at the Battalion Headquarters in the presence of Shri Rahul Goswami, IPS, CO RAF 2nd Bn., Shri Wangden Bhutia, IPS, CO 2nd IRBn, and all other available officers and personnel.
During the Darbar, various issues relating to the welfare of police personnel were discussed.
In addition, a tree plantation drive was organized within the battalion premises under the banner of the “Clean and Green Programme.”
