The SSR IMR Knowledge Resource Cell hosts over 15 engaging activities annually for students. Recently, on September 13, 2024, the cell organized SAMIKSHA III, a review competition on the lives of great personalities, for MBA third-semester students. This initiative aimed to familiarize today's youth with inspiring life stories, impart valuable lessons, and promote moral values. During the event, students presented insightful reviews of 27 iconic personalities, including Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Subhas Chandra Bose, Shivaji Maharaj, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Kalpana Chawla, M.S. Dhoni. The competition fostered an environment for students to enhance their communication skills, build self-confidence, and cultivate a reading habit focused on biographies. Dr. Somnath Bava, Knowledge Resource Cell Coordinator, introduced the competition. Evaluations were conducted by Dr. Minesh Chunara, Mrs. Snehal Mahajan (Campus Librarian), and internal judges Mrs. Shivangi Sing and Megha Agrawal (Assistant Professor, SSRIMR). Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Patil (Director, SSRIMR) encouraged students throughout the event, emphasizing the significance of reading habits in their lives. Three outstanding students were awarded the Best Reviewer titles and received certificates in recognition of their achievements.
