DC Srinagar reviews progress on AgriStack, Farmer ID Generation and Digital Crop Survey

Directs Revenue Officers to expedite enrolment of beneficiary farmers in a time-bound manner

Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, chaired a meeting to review progress on AgriStack, Farmer ID Generation and the Digital Crop Survey across the district.

Key directions included:

Expediting enrolment of all eligible beneficiary farmers ⏱️

DC Srinagar Reviews Rollout of Drug Abuse Rehabilitation & Socio-Economic Reintegration Scheme at IMHANS, GMC Srinagar

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, visited 🏥 IMHANS, GMC Srinagar, to review preparedness for the Phase-I pilot rollout of the Rehabilitation & Socio-Economic Reintegration Scheme for Drug Abuse Victims, 2026.

🔹 The DC reviewed rehabilitation services, coordination among concerned departments and institutions, and other implementation arrangements.

🤝 Emphasising a holistic, coordinated and outcome-oriented approach, he stressed focused efforts towards 🔄 recovery, rehabilitation and socio-economic reintegration of drug abuse victims into mainstream society.
He called for proper registration and documentation of affected persons, 📊 regular monitoring and assessment, 🔍 identification of implementation gaps and timely corrective measures to strengthen the programme ahead of its wider rollout across Jammu & Kashmir.

The initiative, coordinated by the Social Welfare Department, seeks to ensure sustained support and meaningful reintegration of beneficiaries into society.

DC Srinagar, SSP review anti-drug measures in District NCORD meeting

Emphasis on intensified, coordinated enforcement & stronger rehabilitation.


DC Srinagar Akshay Labroo chaired the District-Level NCORD Committee meeting with SSP Srinagar Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy to review and strengthen the district’s anti-drug strategy.

👮 Strong enforcement: About 170 FIRs registered and 240 alleged drug peddlers arrested, along with action against properties and financial assets linked to narcotics trafficking.

🛡️ Zero tolerance: Authorities stressed coordinated enforcement, stronger action under the NDPS and PITNDPS Acts, and improved surveillance and information sharing.

Focus on rehabilitation: Greater emphasis on counselling, follow-up, aftercare and reintegration of drug victims, particularly among youth and vulnerable sections.

📢 The 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan will further strengthen awareness and prevention efforts.

DC Srinagar reviews renovation works under Heritage Conservation scheme.

Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, today inspected the ongoing renovation and upgradation works at Narayan Temple, Bulbul Lanker, being undertaken under the Government’s Heritage Conservation Scheme. 🛕✨

🕌 DC Srinagar conducts on-site review of arrangements at Hazratbal Shrine ahead of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) 🌙

*Calls for meticulous coordination to ensure adequate facilities for devotees and seamless observance of auspicious occasion

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo conducted an on-site review of arrangements at Hazratbal Shrine ahead of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and the Friday following.

Key arrangements reviewed included drinking water,

uninterrupted power supply, sanitation, traffic management, parking, healthcare, fire safety, security and other essential services.

Special focus has been placed on facilitating senior citizens and specially-abled devotees, with e-Rickshaw services to be arranged from designated parking areas to the shrine.

The DC directed all concerned departments to work in close coordination and ensure a safe, convenient and hassle-free experience for the large number of devotees expected to visit Hazratbal.

He also conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). 🌙✨
