Each and every one of the 155 votes is precious to me. Thank you!
The overall results were shocking though. While SKM has reason to rejoice for such an overwhelming mandate, the complete lack of an opposition is very worrying.
Testing times for democracy, not just here but the world over.
Time to dig deep.

I'm deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support I've received from you all in the past few days. This is my final presentation- an attempt to demonstrate how the ideas we've discussed so far can be applied in a real-world context, using an existing congested neighborhood- Daragaon, as a case study. I would also like to stress the importance of rigorous public consultations in such projects. Building trust with the residents is key, as it paves the way for meaningful change and collaboration.

You must have had many questions regarding Ropeway as public transportation in Gangtok. In this short time I have tried to answer as many questions as possible. This is still a work in progress, which requires proper public consultations to implement and execute. With this presentation we aim to show the possibilities and to kickstart discussions.

25- Upper Tadong residents. This is Kailash, an independent candidate contesting from your constituency for the Assembly Elections 2024. Whats on my mind?
The role of money in electoral politics. Votes are openly being bought. The going rate in Upper Tadong is 50,000/- for a small family. 25k now and 25k after the results!
Who can resist that kind of money? Especially when our economy is weak and completely dependent on the Government.
We just have to break the status quo that allows such people to abuse Democracy in this way and perpetuate the cycle of Corruption. We cannot even begin to imagine a better future unless we dismantle this rotten system. I have decided that its my life’s calling to fight this evil and serve Sikkim. I need your support.
Unless right thinking people come out to vote, things are not going to change
