Hon’ble CLP Leader, Manipur & MLA of 32-Wangkhem A/C, Shri Keisham Meghachandra Singh, conducted a joint tour programme along with officials of the District Administration, Thoubal; the District Agricultural Officer, Manipur; NHIDCL; and the Water Resources Department, Manipur, at Waithou Pat in Thoubal District under 32-Wangkhem A/C on 7th May 2026 at 10:00 AM to review the ongoing project works and discuss the proposal for renovation of the existing Waithou Canal from Thoubal Khunou to Lairam Canal, aimed at protecting 4,000 pari of agricultural land from repeated flooding over the past three years.
