A proud milestone in HPCL’s journey of expanding clean energy access across the nation. 🇮🇳

HPCL’s Shahjahanpur–Badaun GA has inaugurated the first Domestic PNG (D-PNG) connection at Shahjahanpur Cantonment in the presence of the Administrative Commander, Cantonment Board.

With the potential to serve nearly 900 households, this marks the first Defence installation across HPCL CGD GAs where D-PNG supplies have commenced. The initiative will provide the defence community with safe, reliable, convenient, and environment-friendly energy while supporting India’s transition towards a cleaner future.

A significant step towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. 🌱

HPCL’s Shahjahanpur & Badaun GA has successfully inaugurated the DCU facility and commenced Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply at Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, strengthening access to safe, reliable, and environment-friendly energy.

The facility will serve 14 commercial establishments and 200 domestic households within the institution, supporting cleaner energy adoption while enhancing operational efficiency and convenience.

Aligned with PNGRB’s PNG DRIVE 2.0 programme, this milestone reflects HPCL’s continued commitment to expanding gas-based infrastructure and accelerating India’s energy transition journey.

HPCL would like to reassure customers in Dharashiv District, Maharashtra, that fuel supplies remain stable and uninterrupted across the district.

All 45 HPCL retail outlets in Dharashiv are fully operational and continue to receive regular replenishment support. While a few outlets have experienced temporary dry-outs due to exceptionally high customer footfalls and increased fuel demand during the ongoing agricultural season, replenishment is being carried out promptly and the situation is under continuous monitoring.

Reflecting the heightened demand, HPCL recorded a 1% growth in Petrol (MS) sales and a 13% growth in Diesel (HSD) sales during May 2026 compared to historical sales volumes.

There is no shortage of petroleum products in the district. Our field teams, depot personnel, transporters, and retail outlet staff are working continuously, including on weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless fuel availability.

Customers are requested to remain calm, avoid panic buying, and rely only on official communication channels for verified information.
