Rudrabhishek is not just a ritual;
it is a sacred surrender of the soul to Shiva.
As water flows over the Shiva Lingam,
let your ego dissolve and inner peace awaken.

“How is yoga different from exercise?

Yoga = body + breath + mind. It emphasizes flexibility, balance, posture, breathing, relaxation, and awareness.
Exercise = mainly physical fitness. It emphasizes strength, stamina, cardiovascular health, muscle development, and calorie burning.

Simple line:
“Exercise makes the body strong; yoga makes the body, breath, and mind balanced.

The relationship between Shiva and a Yogi is deeply connected in yogic tradition.

Shiva is Adiyogi — regarded as the primordial yogi and the source of yogic knowledge.

A Yogi follows the path of Shiva — moving beyond ego, attachment, fear, and ignorance toward inner freedom.
Shiva represents pure consciousness, while the Yogi seeks to experience that consciousness within.
Meditation, tapas, pranayama, mantra and self-awareness are tools through which a Yogi moves toward this state.

The goal is not simply to worship Shiva externally, but to realize the Shiva-tattva—the awakened consciousness within oneself.

In one line:
“Shiva is the state of pure consciousness; a Yogi is the one who walks the path to realize that consciousness within. Nath Ashram

In Kundalini Yoga, Ida and Pingala Nadis are traditionally described as two major subtle energy channels that run alongside the central channel, Sushumna Nadi.

🌙 Ida Nadi — associated with the left side, lunar energy, calmness, receptivity, introspection and the parasympathetic-like quality of relaxation. It is traditionally connected with the left nostril.

☀️ Pingala Nadi — associated with the right side, solar energy, activity, warmth, vitality and outward focus. It is traditionally connected with the right nostril.

🕉️ Sushumna Nadi — the central channel, associated with spiritual awakening and the upward movement of Kundalini Shakti.

How they work together
Kundalini practices such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate-nostril breathing) are traditionally used to balance Ida and Pingala. When the two are balanced and the mind becomes steady, yogic texts describe Sushumna becoming active, creating a supportive state for meditation and deeper practice.
Simple understanding:

🌙 Ida = cooling & inward
☀️ Pingala = warming & outward
🕉️ Sushumna = balance & inner awakening
These are traditional yogic concepts, not anatomical nerves or physical tubes. ᴠɪʀᴀʟᴘᴏsᴛ
