Hille James Combat Photographer I'm a Dutch Combat Photographer for Media center Defence (MCD) with 8 years of infantery. All photos are taken by me To make the world just a little better.

in 2005 i started as an infantrysoldier at the 11th Air Manoeuvre Brigade, 11th infantry bataljon. During my deployment in Afghanistan in 2007, my team and I drove on an IED. Fortunately without any fatalities, although my buddy and I got injured in the blast. After my deployment, back in Holland, I found my passion for photography and became one of the photographers for the brigade. With my pictu

res i try to show the world and the homefront, what it feels like to be a soldier. What they do and sacrifice for their country and loved ones.
