يُزعم أن طفلاً باكستانياً يُدعى صاحب، يبلغ من العمر حوالي ثلاث سنوات ويرتدي قميصاً أسود، قد اختُطف على يد سائق سيارة أجرة عراقي من موقف حافلات باب الشرجي في بغداد، بتاريخ 4 يونيو/حزيران 2026، الساعة الرابعة عصراً. صور الطفل معروضة أدناه.

كان الطفل مسافراً مع والدته، ووقع الحادث بينما كانت الأم تنزل من السيارة، حيث قام السائق العراقي بأخذ الطفل معها قسراً.

ایک پاکستانی بچہ جس کا نام صاحب ، عمر تقریباً 3 سال اور کالے رنگ کی قمیص پہنے ہوئے ہے، 4 جون 2026، شام 4 بجے باب الشرجی بس اسٹاپ، بغداد سے مبینہ طور پر ایک عراقی وین ڈرائیور کے ہاتھوں اغوا ہو گیا ہے۔ بچے کی تصاویر نیچے دی گئی ہیں ۔

بچہ اپنی والدہ کے ساتھ سفر کر رہا تھا اور یہ واقعہ اُس وقت پیش آیا جب والدہ وین سے اتر رہی تھیں اور وين کا عراقی ڈرائیور زبردستی بچے کو ساتھ لےگیا۔

اگر کسی کو اس بچے کے بارے میں کوئی معلومات ہوں یا وہ کہیں نظر آئے تو براہِ کرم فوری طور پر والدہ یا سفارت خانے کے درج ذیل نمبروں پر اطلاع ديں:

An Embassy Team led by Community Welfare Counsellor visited Erbil, Sulemaniya and Kirkuk Governarates from 17 to 19 May 2026 to assist Pakistani Community particularly detained Pakistani nationals for facilitating their early repatriation to Pakistan.

The Counsellor held meetings with Heads of Iqama Erbil, Sulemaniya and Kirkuk as well members of Pakistani Community in these areas.

The team also visited jails and established Consular camps in Erbil on 17 May and in Sulemaniya on 18th May 2026 and assisted the community by issuing Emergency Travel Documents and attestation of various types of documents.

To commemorate the anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq, a dinner was hosted by Ambassador Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed in honour of members of the Pakistani community in Baghdad.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador highlighted the significance of Maarka-e-Haq and paid rich tribute to the professionalism, courage, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, as well as the resilience and unity of the Pakistani nation. He stated that Maarka-e-Haq reflects Pakistan’s firm resolve to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national honour.

The Ambassador also underlined Pakistan’s positive and constructive role in promoting peace and dialogue at the regional and international levels. He particularly highlighted Pakistan’s important contribution towards facilitating the ceasefire between the United States, Israel and Iran, and in encouraging Iran and the United States to return to the negotiating table after a long gap of nearly 47 years. He noted that Pakistan has always supported peaceful resolution of disputes through diplomacy, dialogue and mutual understanding.

The event was attended by a cross-section of the Pakistani community in Baghdad. The gathering provided an opportunity to reaffirm solidarity with Pakistan and to express appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of those who continue to serve the country with honour and commitment.

Special prayers were also offered for the safety, prosperity, stability and continued development of Pakistan, as well as for peace and security in the region.

Ambassador Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed received Sheikh Muhsin Al-Aboudi the Head of Cultural Dialogue and Democracy Center, Najaf, at the Embassy for a constructive exchange on the evolving regional landscape. Discussions focused on current developments, with the Ambassador highlighting Pakistan’s active diplomatic role in facilitating dialogue and helping bring the United States and Iran toward negotiations, in pursuit of de-escalation and regional stability.
