বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, তেহরান যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদা, গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভাবগাম্ভীর্যের সঙ্গে ‘জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান দিবস’ পালন করেছে। দিবসটি উপলক্ষ্যে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে ইরানে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি, বিভিন্ন সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধি, সাংবাদিক, কমিউনিটি নেতৃবৃন্দ এবং দূতাবাসের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
পবিত্র কুরআন থেকে তিলাওয়াতের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়। পরে ‘জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান দিবস’ উপলক্ষ্যে গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের মহামান্য রাষ্ট্রপতি, মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী, মাননীয় পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এবং মাননীয় পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রীর বাণী পাঠ করা হয় এবং ঐতিহাসিক এই দিবসটি উপলক্ষ্যে তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয় কর্তৃক নির্মিত "পথ এবং জুলাই কন্যা " শীর্ষক প্রামাণ্যচিত্র দুটি প্রদর্শন করা হয়।
পরবর্তীতে ‘জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান দিবস' -এর তাৎপর্য নিয়ে আয়োজিত আলোচনা পর্বে- চার্জ দ্য এফেয়ার্স মিজ রাবেয়া সুলতানা তার বক্তব্যে জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানে সকল শহিদদের স্মৃতির প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানান এবং গণঅভ্যুত্থানে আহত সহ সকল অংশগ্রহণকারীদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির নেতৃবৃন্দ, বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক ও সামাজিক সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ এবং বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ আলোচনায় অংশ নেন। আলোচকগণ জুলাইয়ের চেতনা ধারণ করে দেশকে সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে নেয়ার উপর গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন।
অনুষ্ঠান শেষে জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের সকল শহিদের রুহের মাগফিরাত, আহতদের দ্রুত ও পূর্ণ সুস্থতা এবং বাংলাদেশের অব্যাহত শান্তি, সমৃদ্ধি ও উন্নয়ন কামনা করে বিশেষ দোয়া ও মোনাজাত করা হয়।

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Tehran observed ‘July Mass Uprising Day’ with due respect, profound reverence and solemnity. The programme was attended by Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Iran, representatives of various social and cultural organizations, journalists, community leaders, and officers and employees of the Embassy.
The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Messages issued on the occasion of ‘July Mass Uprising Day’ by the Honourable President, the Honourable Prime Minister, the Honourable Foreign Minister, and the Honourable State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh were subsequently read out. Two documentaries, titled “Poth” and “July Konya”, produced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on the occasion of this historic day, were also screened.
During the discussion session on the significance of ‘July Mass Uprising Day’, Chargé d’Affaires Ms. Rabeya Sultana paid deep tribute to the memory of all the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising and expressed profound gratitude to all those who participated in the uprising, including those who were injured. Leaders of the Bangladeshi expatriate community, representatives of various political and social organisations, and distinguished members of the community participated in the discussion. The speakers emphasised the importance of upholding the spirit of July and working together to move the country forward.
At the conclusion of the programme, a special prayer and munajat were offered seeking the eternal peace and salvation of the souls of all the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising, the speedy and complete recovery of those injured, and the continued peace, prosperity and development of Bangladesh.

রাষ্ট্রদূত মিজ্ ফেরদৌসি শাহরিয়ারের মৃত্যুতে বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস তেহরানের সম্মানিত চার্জ দ্য এফেয়ার্স এবং সকল কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীগণ গভীরভাবে শোকাহত।
আমরা বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস তেহরান পরিবার মরহুমের আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করছি এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছি।

শোকবার্তা

অতীব দুঃখের সাথে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, বিসিএস (পররাষ্ট্র) ক্যাডারের ১৮ তম ব্যাচের কর্মকর্তা মিজ্ ফেরদৌসি শাহরিয়ার, অতিরিক্ত পররাষ্ট্র সচিব, পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়, আজ ২৯ জুলাই ২০২৬ তারিখ বিকাল আনুমানিক ৪:৩০ ঘটিকায় বাংলাদেশ স্পেশালাইজড হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় ইন্তেকাল করেছেন (ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)। মৃত্যুকালে তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিল ৫৪ বছর।

তিনি ২৫ জানুয়ারি ১৯৯৯ তারিখে পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ে সহকারী সচিব হিসেবে যোগদান করেন। কর্মজীবনে তিনি ব্যাংকক, রোম, ম্যানচেস্টার ও ওয়াশিংটন ডিসিতে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশ মিশনসমূহে বিভিন্ন পদে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। সর্বশেষ তিনি সিঙ্গাপুরে বাংলাদেশের হাইকমিশনার হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

ব্যক্তিজীবনে তিনি একজন সৎ, নিষ্ঠাবান এবং পরোপকারী মানুষ ছিলেন। মৃত্যুকালে তিনি স্বামী, তিন সন্তান এবং অসংখ্য গুণগ্রাহী রেখে গেছেন।

রাষ্ট্রদূত মিজ্ ফেরদৌসি শাহরিয়ারের মৃত্যুতে মাননীয় পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী, মাননীয় পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পররাষ্ট্র বিষয়ক মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা, পররাষ্ট্র সচিব এবং পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের সকল কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারী গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করেছেন।
