🎒 Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up, and we are planning to make flu shots easy! 💉

To help keep our school-aged Wyverns healthy this season, the Immunizations Team is preparing a convenient, Walk-In Flu Shot Line right at the Aviano Elementary School during the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences:

📅 PLANNED DATES:

• Thursday, October 22, 2026

• Friday, October 23, 2026

🚶‍♂️ NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED:

Walk-in service; No booking or phone calls required.
Stop by the Elementary School Gym to get vaccinated.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TRANSPARENCY UPDATE (Pending Shipment):

Our Flu Vaccine shipment is currently in transit. While our medical team is fully prepped and ready to deploy vaccines at the school, this walk-in line is strictly DEPENDENT on the physical arrival of our vaccine shipment.

We want to give our families plenty of notice to plan ahead, while keeping you fully informed about our supply status!

🟢 WHAT NEXT?

Confirmation: When the flu shipment physically arrives and is cleared by our cold-chain team, we will give an update on the status of our school-age flu line

Cancellation: If the shipment does not arrive in time, we will officially cancel the school event

Friendly reminder regarding our HVAC project which starts tomorrow!

For all TRICARE-related matters, please refer to the information below regarding the redirection of foot traffic away from the construction zone and towards the TRICARE Flight’s designated Patient waiting area.

The Medical Group’s main clinic on Area 1, building 121, is scheduled to begin Phase 1 of a construction project to update our HVAC system, starting 13 October.

All patients seeking Tricare Operations & Patient Administration (Records, Referrals, Benefits support, Translations, Patient Travel, HIPAA, Enrollments, Patient Advocate, etc.), will follow the green path in the below visual from the clinic’s main entrance.

There will be signs directing you away/around the construction area, listed in purple. This phase will last approximately until 30 November, at which point we will send out additional information regarding patient flow and access as we transition to future phases of this construction project.

On 30 November, the caffe and purple areas will open back up for normal operations.
