⚙️ Meet “MudHoney”, the TBM that dug beneath Seattle!
With a diameter of approximately 6 meters, it completed the excavation of the Ship Canal Water Quality Project in Washington State: a large underground storage tunnel built by The Lane Construction Corporation (Webuild Group) for Seattle Public Utilities.

🌊 Designed to reduce the discharge of untreated stormwater and sewage into the Lake Washington Ship Canal, Salmon Bay and Lake Union, the tunnel will help protect Seattle’s waterways by preventing up to 75 million of gallons of contaminated water from overflowing into them every year.

🚆🇪🇺 Turkish high-speed rail has arrived at the gates of the European Union.

The main section of the Halkalı–Kapıkule high-speed rail line, built by a -led consortium for Turkish State Railways, has officially been inaugurated.
Spanning 153 kilometres between Çerkezköy and Kapıkule at the Bulgarian border, this strategic infrastructure delivers key benefits:

✅ Travel times cut by up to 60% for passengers (from 4 hours to 1h30m).
✅ Freight transit times reduced from 8.5 to 3.5 hours.
✅ A sixfold increase in freight capacity, boosting annual volume from 1.5 to 9.5 million tonnes.

The project further reinforces the Group’s long-standing presence in Turkey since 1966, connecting manufacturing hubs directly to European markets and strengthening Eurasian trade.

120 anni di ingegneria, innovazione e mobilità al servizio della Liguria.

Dalla ricostruzione del dopoguerra ai giorni nostri, ha completato circa 30 grandi opere che hanno ridisegnato la connettività e lo sviluppo economico della regione.

Un percorso storico segnato da progetti simbolo dell'ingegneria italiana:

✅​Ponte di Recco (1948): opera simbolo della ricostruzione post-bellica, primo ponte ferroviario in cemento rinforzato in Italia.
✅​Linea Ferroviaria Genova–Ventimiglia (1990): circa 22 km di gallerie, viadotti e stazioni per integrare la mobilità della Riviera.
✅​Metropolitana di Genova (2012): un traguardo tecnologico di ingegneria urbana con l'impiego, per la prima volta in Italia, di TBM in condizioni d'acqua ad alta pressione.
✅​Nuovo Ponte di Genova San Giorgio (2020): 1.067 metri di lunghezza e 19 campate ultimati in tempo record, simbolo della rinascita del Paese.
