On May 17, 2022 members of the Florence Township Police Department and Police Chaplain Rabbi Shmuel Wilhelm attended the Law Enforcement Appreciation Breakfast sponsored by the South Jersey Men’s Club.

Burlington City Police Chief John Fine received the Jewish Community Service Award for his leadership and dedication in improving relationships between law enforcement and all citizens.

On Wednesday May 18, 2022, Sgt. Bonilla and Sgt. Silk were sworn in as newly appointed sergeants. Both will assume duties in the patrol division. Sgt. Bonilla is the first female sergeant in the police department’s history.
