This applies for all parishes and our branchage in St John is also on Friday the 26th June.

Ahead of the Parish 1st Branchage on Friday 26th June it's great to see people getting ready for the inspection. Please be reminded that you are also required to tidy up all of the trimmings - we have received numerous reports of some people failing to do this.
Our Vingteniers & Roads Inspectors will shortly commence their pre inspections - please don't fall foul of the Branchage law.

Polling station for St John is the parish hall and parking is in the school playground behind the parish hall.

There has been a steady flow of people all day and there is still 2 hours left for anyone not yet cast their vote.

Polling stations close at 8pm. Please don’t forget your photo ID.

Our officers have been present throughout the day.

** UPDATE - Road now open **
The road is closed at the junction of La Rue du Bel Au Vent and Le Chemin de Hercules whilst police deal with an incident.
Please avoid the area

Today is St John’s School walk and they will be doing a few different routes around the parish lanes.
Please drive slowly and give them plenty of room as you pass.
They are supported by our officers who are walking with them.
Thank you.

The big ride out is on Sunday coming. Whilst it doesn’t pass through St John, 750 bikes start at St Catherine’s at 11.00 and ride along the south coast finishing on the five mile road. If you are out and about on that route, please allow extra time for any disruption and be patient.
Why not give them a big wave as they go by 😊

As in the notice below. Please note that parking will be restricted in the shopping precinct from Sunday evening till Monday evening for the church fete.
There will be ample parking opposite the school for overnight Sunday and in the field opposite the church for the event on Monday.
We hope you can attend and support the event and say hi to our officers. 😎
