Our icebreaker activity had it all—floating fun, laughter, friendly competition, and pure excitement! From start to finish, the energy was unmatched and the vibes were everything 🎉

As we embrace this year’s World Social Work Day theme, “Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society,” today reminded us what Harambee truly means—coming together, lifting each other up, and creating moments of connection and joy.

This is will be a collaboration with the UWI Mona Social Work Unit, , under the theme
‘Co-building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society’.

February around the world brings a whole heap of excitement; the close of the ‘New Year Trail Month’, Valentine’s Day, the commencement of Carnival season, and the list goes on. Among these is Black History Month✊🏿🪮🤎
We, the UWI Mona SWSA, take this time out to officially celebrate this Black History Month. 🥂
As such, our next meeting will be focused on just that - commemorating Black excellence!
