The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, through its Legal Aid Council, hosted the Justice Fair for Persons with Disabilities at Rudolph Elder Park in St. Thomas on Friday, June 12, 2026, to improve access to justice services for members of the disability community.

Participants accessed free legal advice, expungement services, victim support services, and information on a wide range of justice-related services.

The 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference 2026 was in full swing!

The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs was in the Marketplace at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, engaging attendees through interactive and informative activities.

We are promoting key justice services, including Legal Aid and Expungement, as we continue to educate and empower the public.

The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs (MJCA) proudly participated in the 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference, held from June 14–18, 2026, under the theme “Diaspora Partnerships: Re-building a More Resilient Jamaica.”

At the Conference Marketplace, the MJCA engaged delegates and shared valuable information about the Ministry’s services, while highlighting opportunities for members of the Jamaican diaspora to support the justice sector.

Through meaningful partnerships, public education and accessible justice services, the MJCA remains committed to building a stronger, more resilient justice system and a stronger Jamaica.

Building a Stronger Justice System for Jamaica 🇯🇲

During his contribution to the 2026/27 Sectoral Debate on June 10, 2026, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Honourable Delroy Chuck, reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to modernising Jamaica’s justice system through court infrastructure development, digital transformation, social justice programmes, ADR, estate planning awareness, expungement reform, and constitutional reform.

From constructing and renovating justice facilities to advancing the paperless Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS), the Ministry continues to strengthen access to justice and support a more peaceful, resilient and harmonious Jamaica.
