We recently shopped at Juici Patties on Knutsford Boulevard in Kingston Jamaica. The ambiance was nice, the layout was ergonomically efficient, the prices were pretty decent, the cashier and other expediters were polite and the food delicious as usual.

BUT

1. the expediter who served us seemed to have thrown all her training out the window. She was impolite, unfriendly, impersonal and unapologetic.
2. when we were served at the counter and went to find a table to dine in, most of the tables had food crumbs so we left disappointed... Guess this was just a bad time to stop by :-( because while we were leaving, an attendant started cleaning the tables but we were already on our way out.

I must say though, THE FOOD WAS STILL GREAT! Lol...

So we still recommend this spot for great Jamaican food and beverage whenever you happen to be in the area. On a scale of 1 - 5, we rated this nice little spot an overall score of 3.4 broken down as follows:

Price - 4.0
Food - 4.0
Service - 2.0
Amenities - 3.5
Ambiance - 3.5

Very nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. This vacation destination offers a small, private white sand beach at one end and pristine, honeycomb rock shoreline with mini waves crashing in symphonic beauty. Dine along the waves at the grill or in a large open lofty dining room, swim in the Caribbean sea or dip in the crystal blue pool, bath in the sun or steam in the whirlpool bath... whichever way, its all good!

After Marq Johnson ministered/performed at the inaugural Jamaica Christian Diaspora Conference at the Ibero Star Suites Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Mr Lowell Hawthorne, Jamaican-born entrepreneur, who is the Founder and CEO of Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, presented to him the only copy of his book that he had with him, after they chatted a bit about Hawthorne's inspiring speech just moments after Johnson's time on stage. Hawthorne's company was started in New York in 1989 and now has over 120 stores restaurants across 9 states.
