A Sky Musical is coming soon to Nagareyama’s night sky! 🎆🎇

The Nagareyama City 60th Anniversary Fireworks Festival will be taking place on Saturday, October 3rd! Come and enjoy a breathtaking show of fireworks that will paint the sky in all kinds of shapes and colors, and will be set off in synchronicity to popular Japanese songs. Tickets for the event will go on sale on August 5th (Wed.) at 10 AM (details below).

Come join the fun!!

One special night at the museum! ✨️

The summer heat didn't stop guests from having an exciting time at the Shiro Mirin Summer Festival this past weekend, with everyone cooling off with cold craft beers and colorful shaved ice treats!🍧

Friends and families feasted on local gourmet specialties from the various food booths, while kids crowded the festival games, trying their hand at superball fishing, shooting galleries, and raffles.🎯

Visitors enjoyed the festival's unique atmosphere while getting a glimpse into the rich history of Nagareyama through the various offerings of Shiro Mirin speacialties featured in the museum shop "Nagareyama Gururi." ✨️

The traditional streets of Nagareyama Honcho were full of life, with handmade kirie andon lanterns lighting the way to the festival, making it a truly special summer night. 🏮

ナイトミュージアムでの特別な夏の夜！✨️

先週末に開催された「白みりんの夏祭り」では、夏の暑さに負けず、多くの来場者の皆様が楽しい時間を過ごしました！冷たいクラフトビールや色鮮やかなかき氷で涼を感じながら、夏ならではのひとときを楽しんでいました。🍧

会場内に並ぶ屋台では、流山のグルメを堪能し、子どもたちはスーパーボールすくいや射的、くじ引きなどの縁日ゲームに夢中になり、笑顔があふれていました。🎯

来場者の皆様は、いつもと一味違う白みりんミュージアムを楽しみながら、ミュージアムショップ「流山ぐるり」に並ぶみりんの特産品を通して、流山ならではの魅力や豊かな歴史にも触れることができました。✨️

流山本町の風情ある街並みは、手作りの切り絵行灯でやさしく照らされ、お祭りへと続く道を幻想的に彩りました。夏の思い出に残る、特別な一夜となりました。🏮

The night skies of Tone Unga were transformed into a scene straight out of the pages of a fairytale during the “Mizube de Kampai! Tone Unga 2026” Festival.🍻

From July 3 to July 5, visitors celebrated Tanabata in Nagareyama, enchanted by the magical glow of 77 lanterns that illuminated the canalside in a breathtaking display on the first night. ✨️

People sent their wishes up to the stars, before continuing the festivities along the canal, where mouthwatering food stalls and craft beer awaited, along with exciting performances, and unforgettable moments shared with friends and loved ones.  🌟

Don’t miss out on all the summer magic that awaits in Tone Unga, an area abundant in nature, just a short trip outside of Tokyo! 🌳

7月3日から7月5日まで開催されたこのお祭りでは、七夕を祝い、初日の夜は77個のランタンが利根運河の夜空を幻想的に彩りました。✨️

During the “Summer Evening on the Nagareyama Honcho” Tour this past Saturday (7/4/2026), everybody who joined us discovered little snippets of Japanese history and culture, as we explored various destinations around the Nagareyama Honcho area. ☀️

Our first stop was Sushi Dining Okahei, where we had a lovely time feasting on a delicious sushi lunch served in a beautiful, artistic presentation. We then started our journey through the historic townscape, stopping at the Ruins of Kondo Isami’s Encampment (Kondo Isami Jinya Ato) where we followed in the footsteps of the Shinsengumi, before joining in on the fun for a Mirin Experience at the Nagareyama City Shiro Mirin Museum. There, everyone tried out Mirin Warabi Mochi, and learned about the many fascinating attributes of Mirin.👨‍🍳

We ended the day at Sengen Shrine, where the shrine grounds had transformed for their annual festival. Everyone enjoyed the lively atmosphere, with bustling food stalls, powerful taiko drum performances, and the magical ambiance that makes Japanese summer festivals so special! ✨️

先日の土曜日（7月4日）に開催されました「Summer Evening on the Nagareyama Honcho」ツアーでは、ご参加いただいた皆様と流山本町周辺をめぐり、日本の歴史や文化に触れる機会がありました。☀️

まず最初に訪れた鮨DINING岡平では、素敵なお寿司の盛り合わせをいただき、楽しいひとときを過ごしました。そして歴史ある町並みの探検のスタート！新選組の足跡をたどり、近藤勇陣屋跡を訪れて、流山市白みりんミュージアムでみりん体験に参加しました。皆さんとみりんわらび餅を作ることに挑戦し、みりんの様々な特徴について知りました。👨‍🍳

ツアーの締めくくりは浅間神社。ちょうど大祭りが開催されており、境内は屋台や迫力ある太鼓演奏で盛り上がっており、夏祭りならではの幻想的なマジックに取りつかれました。✨️

Come and celebrate Tanabata at the “Mizube de Kampai! Tone Unga 2026” Festival, where everyone will raise a glass together on July 3rd (Fri.) at exactly 7:07 PM and send their wishes to the night sky of Nagareyama with 77 lanterns.

Held at Unga Mizube Park (5 mins. from Unga Station on the TOBU URBAN Park Line), located along a historic canal, the area will come alive with food stalls, craft beer, live music, and plenty of festive activities throughout the day. Come make your wishes and celebrate under the stars!

The festival will take place over three days: 7/3 (Fri), 7/4 (Sat), and 7/5 (Sun).
**Please note that the event will be canceled in the event of rain.

・7/3 (Fri) | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Enjoy a wide variety of food and craft beer stalls, then join the grand “Kampai!” at exactly 7:07 PM. 77 Tanabata lanterns will light up the area, creating a spectacular display beneath the evening sky.

・7/4 (Sat) | 3:00 PM – 7:40 PM
Kids can enjoy exciting games and workshops, while the stage comes alive with taiko drumming, piano performances, Yosakoi dancing, and many other entertaining acts. Local food and craft beer will also be available throughout the day.

・7/5 (Sun) | 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM
Join the Clean Daisakusen event! Participants will start the morning with radio exercises before helping clean up the Tone Unga area. The festival will conclude with one final “Kampai!” at 7:07 AM using bottles of milk, to do one final celebration for the fun-filled weekend.

今年の七夕は「水辺で乾杯！利根運河2026」でお祝いしませんか？

7月3日（金）午後7時7分に参加者全員で一斉に乾杯！さらに、77個の七夕ランタンを夜空に上げて、みんなで願い事を届けます。

歴史ある運河沿いに位置する運河水辺公園（東武アーバンパークライン運河駅から徒歩5分）で開催され、いろんな屋台やクラフトビール、ライブ音楽など、楽しみが盛りだくさん！願いごとを書いて、星空の下で特別なひとときを過ごしましょう。

開催日：7月3日（金）・4日（土）・5日（日）
※雨天中止

【7月3日（金）16:00〜20:00】
地元グルメの屋台やクラフトビールを楽しみ、午後7時7分に盛大な乾杯！さらに、77個の七夕ランタンが夕暮れの空を彩ります。

【7月4日（土）15:00〜19:40】
子ども向けゲームやワークショップのほか、和太鼓演奏、ピアノ演奏、よさこい演舞など、ステージイベントも充実！地元グルメやクラフトビールもお楽しみいただけます。

【7月5日（日）6:30〜7:30】
クリーン大作戦に参加しよう！
ラジオ体操で気持ちよく朝をスタートした後は、みんなで会場のごみ拾い。締めくくりは午前7時7分に牛乳で乾杯！楽しかった週末をみんなで振り返りながらフィナーレを迎えます。

Join us for an English tour of Nagareyama Honcho!

Enjoy an unforgettable evening surrounded by the exciting buzz of the Sengen Shrine Festival! We’ll explore the charming streets of Nagareyama, with stops at Sushi DINING Okahei for a delicious sushi lunch, and an exciting cooking class where we will learn unique ways to use Shiro Mirin to make delicious dishes. We'll conclude our day at Sengen Shrine which will be transformed with food stalls and live taiko drums for a grand festival!

(In the event of inclement weather, part of the tour may be canceled or replaced with a different activity.)

**Please note that this is a tour meant for people of foreign nationalities only.
