The 18th Contracting Squadron invites industry partners to an industry engagement event to introduce revolutionary collaborative delivery methods and non-traditional acquisition strategies authorized under the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

18 CONS hosted contracting professionals from Yokota AB and Andersen AFB for Contingency Contracting Officer training.

Contingency contracting is essential to sustaining military operations, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response across our AOR. Throughout the week, participants sharpened critical contracting skills while reinforcing operational readiness through daily PT challenges that simulated the demands of deployed environments.

Mission ready. Physically prepared. Always ready to support the fight.

The forum provided an opportunity to engage with our Defense Industrial Base partners while advancing the Acquisition Transformation Strategy and National Security Strategy. 💪🏽

Throughout the week, Team Kadena highlighted key Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) requirements and strengthened collaboration with industry partners.
