Tama Hills GC R4R (Recharge for Resiliency) - We're happy to continue our own R4R Program taking our Airmen, retirees, and other members to Satsuki GC, Sano Course. This course is the location of one of the world's longest holes at 964 yards, a par 7. Our group recorded only two birdies, we'll have to go back! We hope to continue these trips in the future, let us know if you like them.

Just to be safe and prevent any crazy "acts of God" we'll be lowering nets at both facilities shortly. Courses will remain open and if any changes, we'll update this post. For any early risers tomorrow, please be sure to call us before heading out.

We do not anticipate anything catastrophic but we'd like to give our staff safe travel time coming from their homes. This will also give maintenance a head start cleaning debris.

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the players who joined us last Saturday for our 4-Person Hot Shot Scramble!Moving to a 0600 start worked out beautifully, allowing everyone to beat the heat and enjoy a great morning of golf. The early time was such a success that we plan on doing the same next year, and we will even entertain earlier start times in the future. For the remainder of this season, we will stick to our current schedule and look to make these updates for the 2027 calendar.

The course conditions were absolutely spectacular, and it was wonderful to utilize the korai greens. The surface welcomed aggressive putts, which certainly reflected in the extremely low scores across the board! A huge shoutout and great job to our maintenance team, led by Eric Van Gorder, GCSAA, for keeping the course in top-tier shape.

Looking Ahead: Our next event on the horizon is the Member-Guest tournament.
Format: 2-Person Team Best Ball. Each player will play their own ball completely out, and we will take the best score from the two-some as the team score.
Invite Friends: This is a perfect opportunity to showcase our course and invite your neighbors, colleagues, or local friends to join the fun!
