On Friday, Funeral Support Services was a proud hole sponsor at the annual CCCJ Cup. At our hole we had a bbq and drinks while the golfers tried our hockey glove challenge. The golfer with the farthest drive wearing hockey gloves won dinner at in Daikanyama. We also collected donations for . TELL provides mental health support for the foreign community in Japan. This charity is very close to our hearts. It was a beautiful day spent with all of our friends affiliated with the .

A good part of our job is traveling around beautiful Japan taking care of the families we serve. Japan has some really beautiful scenery. Earlier this week we traveled to Kanazawa to do the death registration at the local city office and took a loved one into our care. The family was very pleased that they could make the arrangements in their native language.

Having a busy time at the Asia Funeral Expo in Hong Kong this week. It’s great connecting with old friends while building new connections. It’s great to see and the booths generating a lot of interest.

I was invited as a special guest by the Royal Thai Embassy for the opening ceremony of the Thai Festival in Tokyo. The Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and the Thai ambassador hosted delegates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as other business leaders. Funeral Support Services is honoured to take care of families from Thailand when their loved ones die in Japan. Please visit this festival at Yoyogi Park if you are in the Tokyo area.
