The Secretary of Defense has designated Okinawa, Japan as a Funded Environmental Leave (FEML) location. This authorizes eligible* Soldiers, DoD Civilians, and dependents a funded round trip from Kadena Airbase to Seattle, WA. TRANSCOM is adding new flights daily to support this initiative. If you are interested, ask your chain of command for details on the program and about how to request FEML today.

*Eligible applicants are Soldiers, DoD Civilians, and dependents who have 6 months or more on island and who have more than 6 months remaining before PCS.
