A LETTER TO OUR FORMER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Dear Friends,

You have left Korara Integrated Senior School, but you are still part of our big family.

We remember when we were all together here – running to class so we were not late, sitting behind classes at lunch time, practicing for school shows until we were tired, and playing games on the field. We also remember sharing food, working on class projects, and talking for a long time about many things.

We are happy to say that 22 of these former students have gone to university. They are studying different things like medicine, building roads and bridges, teaching, and more. Many others have joined middle-level colleges where they are learning skills like taking care of sick people, using computers, farming, and doing business.

These students worked hard when they were here. They helped each other when things were difficult and kept trying even when it was not easy. The time we spent together in secondary school helped us become ready for what comes next.

Our school is always open for you. Come back any time to see old places, tell current students about what you are doing now, or just to say hello. You will always be welcome here – Korara is your secondary school home.
