This evening, I had the privilege of joining the community of Ainabngetik during the empowerment programme organized by Wisho (Weritab Kamagut) at Ainabngetik Grounds.

Such initiatives are a reminder that our young people possess immense talent, creativity and potential. As we confront the challenge of unemployment, we must continue creating platforms where our youth can discover, nurture and monetize their talents.

Talent can be more than a passion—it can be a pathway to opportunity, dignity and self-reliance.

Let us continue empowering our youth, supporting their dreams and creating an environment where every talent has an opportunity to thrive.

Yesterday, on behalf of His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto, we witnessed the settlement of outstanding debts owed to the citizens of Kamoret Farm who willingly donated their plots towards the establishment and development of Kamoret Secondary School, despite having no prior assurance of compensation.

We sincerely appreciate the President for taking the initiative to honour this commitment and for entrusting the local leadership with the responsibility of overseeing this important process.

This gesture demonstrates the value of recognising the sacrifices made by our people in supporting community development projects.

I encourage all beneficiaries to invest these funds wisely and use them to improve the livelihoods of their families and secure a better future for generations to come.

Together, we continue building a community where service, trust, and development remain at the heart of our leadership.

This evening together with my colleague MCAs Hon.Moses Kebenei(Simat Kapseret) and Hon Patrick Kipkemboi(Moi's Bridge) we shared grief with my friend and neighbour Mr.Samuel Maiyo(Mwololo) whom we lost following a sudden road accident that happened the other day at Tumaini junction.

I was also in the company of Col.Noah Kosgei(General Manager -Kenya Meat Commission Mombasa Branch.)

Maiyo will be remembered as an astute administrator and a community mobiliser whose contribution will forever remain in our hearts.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Today, we officially initiated a water drilling project at Symbiosis Kaibeiyo Primary School (Shangilia), marking another important step in our commitment to improving access to clean and reliable water for our people.

The first phase of the project will involve drilling and casing of the borehole, construction of a 20,000-litre elevated water tower, and installation of two 10,000-litre water storage tanks.

The second phase, which is scheduled for implementation within this financial year, will include the installation of a solar-powered water system, pump installation and piping infrastructure to supply water to the school and neighbouring communities.

This project is more than infrastructure—it is an investment in health, education, dignity and the future of our children and communities.

We remain committed to delivering practical projects that directly improve the lives of our people. Together, we can transform our communities, one project at a time.
