MD Moses Kipchumba, in collaboration with MP Peter Lochakapong and community leaders, today flagged off the distribution of 100 camels to 100 vulnerable households in Pokot Central and parts of Kacheliba. The initiative will promote sustainable livelihoods, strengthen resilience, and support socio-economic development in ASAL communities.

Honoured to be part of Women Empowerment Event in West Pokot County, where our Ag. CEO Moses Kipchumba joined H.E. Mama Rachel Ruto EGH , the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya.

During the event, the Ag CEO highlighted the Authority’s ongoing efforts in women and youth empowerment through inclusive economic opportunities in honey and mango value chains. These interventions has enhanced livelihoods, promoted value addition, and fostered sustainable socio-economic development within our region.

As a gesture of appreciation and partnership, the CEO presented H.E. the First Lady with the Authority’s locally produced honey, a product that reflects our commitment to supporting community-based enterprises and agribusiness development.

The Authority remains committed to working with stakeholders to advance initiatives that create opportunities, strengthen local economies, and improve the livelihoods of communities across the region.
