Family Mediation Week | 9th–13th
at Embu Law Courts
Family Mediation Week aims to promote the amicable and efficient resolution of family disputes through court-annexed mediation. During this period, matters filed before the court will be screened to identify cases suitable for mediation, and appropriate cases will be referred to accredited mediators for guided dialogue and settlement.
Key Activities Include:
Screening of family matters to determine suitability for mediation
Referral of eligible matters to mediation
Promoting awareness on mediation as a faster, confidential, and less adversarial approach to resolving family disputes
Mediation helps reduce case backlog, saves time and costs for litigants, and encourages solutions that preserve family relationships and promote lasting agreements.
