THE DAY THAT WAS | Embu County Opens New Ardhi House

Monday, July 6, marked a major milestone for land administration in Embu County with the official opening of the new Embu County Ardhi House.

The modern facility brings together all offices responsible for Lands, Mining, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development in the Municipality of Embu, under one roof, creating a convenient one-stop service centre for residents.

The new Ardhi House is expected to transform the way land services are delivered by improving coordination among departments, reducing delays, and making it easier for wananchi to access critical services without moving from one office to another. The move is also set to enhance efficiency, speed up processing of land-related documents, and strengthen public service delivery.

For thousands of Embu residents, the new facility represents a significant step towards a more responsive and citizen-centred county government.

As the county continues investing in better infrastructure and streamlined services, the opening of Embu County Ardhi House signals a new chapter in making land administration more efficient, transparent, and accessible to every resident seeking government services.
