Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall all return.
With profound sorrow and a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to our beloved Ugas Feisal Abdi and the entire family following the painful loss of their beloved mother.
May Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgive her shortcomings, shower her with His mercy, illuminate and widen her grave, and grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
May Allah grant Ugas Feisal Abdi, his family, and all those who loved her sabr, strength, and comfort during this difficult period. May He ease their grief and give them peace in knowing that she has returned to her Creator.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with the family at this difficult time.
May Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus and give the family Sabr and Imaan. Aamiin Ya Rabbal Aalamiin.

It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the passing of Professor Bashir Jama Aden, who passed away in Nairobi.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to H.E. Nathif Jama Adam, EGH, Governor of Garissa County, the entire Jama Aden Derow family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by the late Professor Bashir Jama Aden.
His passing is a great loss to his family, the community, and the great people of Garissa County. We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, envelops him in His infinite mercy, and grants him the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus.
May Allah grant strength, patience (sabr), and unwavering faith (iimaan) to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

I urge every eligible resident of Garissa County to register as a voter in large numbers. Your vote is your voice, and your voice determines the future of our county. It is unfortunate that voter registration and turnout in Garissa have remained low because the current leadership has not done enough to educate and mobilize our people. I call upon our youth, women, and elders to take this exercise seriously. Let us register, participate, and shape the future we want through the ballot. Change begins with your vote.
