Today, I am proud to lay the foundation for a new maternity wing at Majengo Dispensary. This facility will provide essential support to pregnant women, ensuring safe deliveries and significantly reducing infant fatalities during birth.

Majengo Dispensary has been serving a population of ten thousand people in the area, and this new addition will greatly enhance our healthcare services.

The establishment of this new maternity wing is a testament to my commitment to improving healthcare services and ensuring the well being of our community .

On Monday ,Al-imdaad foundation in collaboration with my office conducted a Free Medical Camp at Bububu Village ,Kinakomba Ward.

In the event ,more than 1000 people were medically attended to and treated with help of Al-Imdaad health officers and Tana River County health workers.

We appreciate the generous support of Al-Imdaad foundation ,Department of Health ,Kinakomba community and other volunteers for making this happen.

Nafurahi Kutangaza ushirikiano baina ya kaunti ya Tana River na Kampuni ya Unga Wa Dola ambayo imepanga kufanya mashindano ya soka ya Tana River Dola Super Cup kwa vijana wetu wapenda soka.
Mashindano haya yanalenga kukuza vipaji vya vijana wetu kuanzia umri wa miaka 17-21 na maskauti mbalimbali wakiwemo wa klabu ya soka ya Bandari FC watafuatilia kwa Karibu kutambua vipaji vya kipekee.

Ufunguzi rasmi utafanyika Kesho inshallah Katika uga wa Galole ambapo timu nane :3 kutoka Tana Delta, 3 kutoka Galole na 2 kutoka Tana North zitashiriki.

Mshindi kati ya hizo timu nane ataiwakilisha Tana River Katika ngazi za juu Coast Region kule Mombasa.Mshindi wa kaunti anapata zawadi ya KSH 100,000 ,Mshindi huko Mombasa ana kitita Cha KSH 1,000,000 na Mshindi wa pili atapata KSH 500,000.

Leo nimepata fursa ya Kukutana na wakaazi wa Majengo kujadili changamoto wanazopitia katika Kijiji Chao.

Katika changamoto walizozigusia ni shida ya Maji na nimehaidi kuwasaidia kulitatua tatizo hilo karibuni.

Kijiji Cha Majengo kitafaidika na mirandi inayotekelezwa na serikali ya kaunti kupitia Bunge la kaunti ya Tana River Mwaka wa mapendekezo (FY 24/25) watapata Mradi wa Flood Light (Taa ya Mwilika Mwizi) na Mama mboga watajengewa hema sokoni ili kuwawezesha kufanya Biashara zao Kwenye mazingira mazuri.

In a continued effort to enhance infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents . Today, I embarked on a comprehensive village to village visitation program where I visited Kilindini village to oversee the grading of a new road that will provide vital access to the soon-to-be-launched Kilindini Dispensary. This dispensary, set to open its doors later this year, is expected to serve over 1,000 people in the locality, hence improving healthcare access for the community.

These initiatives are meant to boost infrastuctural development withini the ward thus ensuring that essential services are accessible to all.

In an effort to combat the persistent drought in Kinakomba Ward, along with a team of officers from the Agriculture Department, conducted a sensitization program for local communities. The initiative aimed to educate residents on the significant impacts of farming and sustainable practices.

The officers highlighted the critical role of agriculture in ensuring food security and improving livelihoods. Community members gained valuable insights into modern farming techniques, eco- friendly practices, and crop diversification, which are expected to enhance food production and resilience against drought.

The Agriculture Department initiative is part of a broader strategy to revive agricultural schemes in Kinakomba Ward. These schemes aim to provide a permanent solution to drought challenges by promoting efficient water use, introducing drought-resistant crops, and supporting farmers with necessary resources and training.

The revival of these agricultural schemes will offer food security for the people of Kinakomba Ward.

In a significant development, the ongoing drilling of the Makere water borehole has reached a crucial milestone. Today, I promptly inspected the site to oversee the ongoing work.

This borehole project is poised to provide much-needed water resources to the residents of Makere and Hara villages in Kinakomba ward.

The successful completion of this borehole will address the long-standing water scarcity issues faced by these communities, ensuring a reliable supply of clean water. Local authorities and residents have expressed their optimism and gratitude for this initiative, which promises to improve the quality of life and support sustainable development in the region.

The testing phase will commence shortly, followed by the distribution of water to the villages.

The administration of H.E. Governor Major Godhana is committed to enhancing infrastructure and ensuring that essential services reach the common mwananchi.

I had a trip together with engineers from the department of roads and infrastructure to inspect Hara- Maroni road.

The Engineers had the opportunity to assess and inspect the work being done by the contractors.

According to the engineers reports the said road needs to change course as it is always affected by floods,this will happen through public participations

All thanks to His excellence Dr Retired Major Godhana for his continued support in the development Agendas in my ward and the entire county at large.Other Roads to be done is The Wenje Boji Road.

An official launch of the road shall be done in due course.

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right which plays a vital role in sustaining health, supporting eco-system and promoting economic development.

Yesterday ,I officiated the ground breaking ceremony of the construction of the 30,000Cubic Metres Bula Wenje Water Dam, funded by the Water Trust Fund (WTF), Welt Hunger Wilfe (WHW) in collaboration with the County Government Of Tana River.

This project consist of the construction of Vukoni/Wenje borehole , elevated tank and pipeline.

Once completed , the 50M project will benefit the residents of vukoni village, Bula village, wenje and facilities like Wenje secondary and Wenje dispensary.

This initiative alligns with the agenda of H.E Governor Dhadho Godhana to address water scarcity in Tana River County and ensure that every resident of Tana River County has access to this life-sustaining resource.

Ukosefu wa maji safi ya matumizi limekua tatizo sugu kwa wakaazi wa Tanariver kwa miaka mingi sasa.

Licha ya kua na rasilimali ya Mto maji kuwafikia wananchi imekua shida wengi wa wakaazi hulazimika kuchota maji mtoni hivyo kuwaweka katika hatari ya kuvamiwa na mamba na kutumia maji ambayo si salama kiafya.

Kikao hiki pamoja na wananchi ni kujadili kuhusu mradi wa maji wa makere hadi kijiji cha Hara. Mradi unaolenga kukabiliana na tatizo la maji katika vijiji hivyo.
