September 2022.
During our visit Esther discussed guidance and counselling topics with the children in Standards 6,7, and 8.
Several youth and adults with disability were also visited; It was good to see Rose with her Epilepsy well controlled and attending a church event. Mike, paralyzed by tuberculosis of the spine, was cheerful mobilized in the wheelchair we provided, his bedsores healed. Mzee, who is blind, is getting very frail. Mary is bright and cheerful, happy in her community. Sadly Vincent is currently unable to attend school, due to repeated chest infections. We arranged for him to take exams at home, and for him to have a mobile phone, keeping in touch with friends and developing a photographic interest.
Jacinta then joined the group of mothers holding a Self-help group meeting. She shared in Kimaasai the benefits of joining together, ways to develop going forward, they sang and danced, shared tea and mandazi, chose the Chairman, secretary and treasurer, then planned to legally register the group. With strength in numbers, good accounting and record keeping, they will qualify for project start-up support.

February 2022.
The Seurr Sang'ida trust are building a dedicated classroom for children with special needs and unable to attend main school. Currently the boarding dayroom is being used. The classroom will enable the registration as a Special school, hopefully some goverment funding, and be in a separate but adjacent compound and develop a sport's area.
Roofing, plastering, completed. Doors and Windows going in. Next term tiling, ceiling and painting will happen. Then for furnishing and equipping! Thank you immensely to all who have contributed to bringing the Trust Vision thus far. Our vision continues to expand!
