The installation of two transformers at Kaptilol is now complete. The contractor, together with engineers from REREC, have successfully undertaken the connection works, and the metering process will commence soon. This milestone will enable close to 200 households to be connected to electricity, bringing reliable power to the community and improving livelihoods.

God bless Kaptilol. God bless Emgwen. God bless Kenya 🇰🇪.

The project is expected to be completed in June.

Today, together with Hon Millie Odhiambo Mabona, MP Suba North, I was delighted to host students and teachers from Kapsabet Girls High School at Parliament Buildings during their educational visit.

The students had an opportunity to learn firsthand about the workings of Parliament, legislative processes, and the important role of leadership and public service in nation-building. Their confidence, discipline, and eagerness to learn were truly impressive and a clear reflection of the excellence the school continues to uphold.

I commend the school administration, teachers, and parents for their continued dedication to nurturing future leaders. To the students, keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in yourselves; the future is bright.

My submission on the high fuel prices: this is a temporary challenge largely driven by global market dynamics beyond our control. We remain hopeful that the situation will stabilize soon and bring relief to wananchi.

As leaders, our responsibility is to continue engaging stakeholders and pursuing sustainable measures that protect citizens from prolonged economic pressure. Better days are ahead.

TULON KONA BRIDGE
Today morning, together with structural engineers from KeRRA, we visited the site to assess and design the failing bridge. I am pleased to report that after engaging the DG, the project has been accorded top priority.

I’m also happy to note that the bridge has already received partial funding, and I will continue engaging relevant stakeholders to secure additional funds so that the works can be completed once and for all.

The proposed bridge design will consist of a 10-metre deck, 6-metre wings on both sides, and a height of approximately 3.5-4 metres. The estimated project cost stands at about KSh 35 million.

We remain committed to delivering durable infrastructure solutions that improve connectivity and safety for our people.

For every Arsenal fan who has waited, believed, defended the badge and stood by the club through every season, never stop believing‼️

We have come close many times, but one thing remains true: Arsenal is built on passion, resilience and hope. From the days of The Invincibles to today’s rising generation, the dream is still alive.

Supporting Arsenal is not just about trophies; it’s about loyalty, identity and believing that glory will return again. One day, the Emirates will erupt, the world will watch, and Arsenal will rise back to the top where it belongs.

Keep the faith, Gunners. Victory loves patience. 🔥⚽
