Today, hope and joy have been restored to a deserving family after their children finally reported back to school, thanks to the support of our Patron, Engineer Maina Gateru MP Mathira 2027 .

Since schools reopened, the children had been unable to attend classes due to lack of school fees. Moved by their situation, Eng. Maina Gateru stepped in and bridged the gap, ensuring the learners return to school and continue pursuing their dreams.

The family expressed deep gratitude and prayers of blessings to Eng. Maina Gateru for his kindness, compassion, and commitment to uplifting the community.

At Engineer Maina Gateru Foundation, we remain dedicated to transforming lives through education support and community empowerment. Together, we can build a brighter future for every child. 🙏📚

I am happy to see the women of Wakamata embrace tree planting as a way of improving their livelihoods and protecting our environment. Today, we distributed avocado and macadamia seedlings to support sustainable farming during this rainy season. đŸŒ±
My belief has always been that empowering communities starts with creating opportunities that bring long-term benefits to families. These trees will contribute to food security, environmental conservation, and additional household income in the years ahead.
I thank the residents for their warm reception and commitment to making this initiative a success. Together, we can build a greener, more economically empowered community.

Today, I had the opportunity to inspect the toilet project we are helping to build in collaboration with the Kanyama PCEA congregants. This is a commendable initiative aimed at improving sanitation and creating a better environment for the church community.
Access to proper sanitation is essential for dignity, health, and community well-being. I am grateful to the congregants and all partners involved for their commitment and unity in making this project a reality.
Together, we continue building stronger and healthier communities.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting hardworking boda boda riders from Mikundi and Kwa MĂșkaburĂș. These young men and women play a major role in connecting our communities and supporting local families through their daily hustle.
As part of supporting their work and improving their visibility during this rainy season, I donated branded umbrellas for their motorcycles. Small efforts like these go a long way in making their work safer and more comfortable.
I appreciate their dedication, resilience, and contribution to our economy. Together, we continue building a stronger and empowered community.

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of donating modern Langstroth beehives to the Livestock Self Help Group at Kirigu–Ndimaiini in Konyu Ward, Mathira. This initiative is aimed at promoting modern beekeeping practices, increasing honey production, and improving livelihoods for our hardworking farmers and youth.
In addition, we distributed umbrellas to boda boda riders in the area as part of our continued community empowerment efforts and to support them in their daily hustle.
Together, we continue building a more empowered and economically stable community. Development is a shared responsibility, and I remain committed to uplifting our people through practical and sustainable initiatives.
