FALLING FOR HIM

Episode 3

"Ransom?" Nickson asked

"I think it's a good idea. We can still get money after all" Leone said

"Are you ready to meet up with the police?" Dylan asked

"Come on, you are a master of plans. We leave no trace of evidence after everything we do. How can that happen?" Asked Leone and the rest agreed.

"This is not robbery, this is kidnap. You say where you will drop the girl and where they will drop the money. Obviously you will ask them not to involve the police, but what if the family member is a police officer? They may still bring police officers secretly with a bag full of clothes, rather than money. We'll obviously get attacked in the process and we'll win the fight but..." Dylan said and paused

"What?" The others asked

"We will be a target of the police from then on. They won't stop there and that will be a delay to our missions" Dylan said and they all reasoned with him.

"So what do you suggest we do?" Phoebe asked and there was total silence from them, except that Kate kept calling for help.

"Someone shut her up already! She's getting on my nerves" Leone said getting angry.

"Let her go" said Dylan and his friends answered in unison,"What?"

"Do you have any better way to do this?" Dylan looked at them and they all looked away.

"How do we let her go? Should we tell her that it was a mistaken identity?" Eliot asked

"That way, she will report us to the police as kidnappers bro" Phoebe said

"Let's open the door and hide until she runs away" suggested Nickson

"Does this place look like one with hideouts? Try hiding yourself first" Phoebe said again but Dylan stood up dropping the phone on the table.

"Let's just open the door, scare her not to mention this place nor us and then let her go. Girls get scared easily" Leone said

"I don't get scared so easily" Phoebe said

"Are you a girl? Do you even behave like one? Not just behave, do you even dress like one?" Leone provoked Phoebe and then almost got into a fight but they were stunned to see Dylan hanging timer bombs all over the house.

"Dude, are you trying to kill us? We can get out of this mess. We can think of another way" Eliot said in panic

"This is the only way out" Dylan said

"Bro, I'm yet to marry Niffah. I don't want to die yet" Nickson said

"Do you all really think that Dylan will commit su***de because of fear of police?" Phoebe asked

"Then why is he setting the bombs?" Leone asked

"He might have a plan" Phoebe said smiling and truly, Dylan had a plan.

After setting up all the bombs, Dylan grabbed his things including the phone and left the house.

"Bro, did you mean letting her go to heaven? The girl is innocent. We can't just kill her" Eliot rushed to Dylan and begged him.

Dylan just kept walking away.

They were in the middle of a forest, where they had built that small hideout they kept Kate in.

"You guys reason with him. We can't kill the poor girl. She just arrived in the country to meet with her family. They must be so worried about her" Eliot said to the rest who were all outside to see what Dylan was up to.

And truly, the whole family had known that Kate was missing from the airport.

The police asked them to go back if she didn't show up after 24 hours.

Andrew had checked the cctv footage only to find out that everything was deleted.

The security men kept saying that no one entered the server room to delete anything.

When they called Kate's school in Canada, they said that all the graduates left the school already.

Mrs Martin was already in tears and she kept trying to call Kate but her number was off.

"Let's just wait a little longer. She might have gone to see some friends. How about this, Millan, you know most of her favourite places. Why don't you go and try looking for her. I'll ask some of my department friends to help me look for her in suspicious places. If she has been kidnapped, the kidnappers will ask for a ransom so don't switch off your phones" said Andrew and left the house.

Tessy stood in the kitchen with a glass of water and some documents in her hands.

"Kate you are my sister, but I don't wish for you to come back today. If you can't stay in Canada, Then I wish you could just die!" She said thoughtfully as she crashed the documents in anger.

Episode 2

Kate woke up hours later and found herself on a small bed, in a shady room.

She couldn't even see where the door was.

Her head was aching the hell out of her.

"Where am I?" She thought trying to recall how she got there, but her head just hurt so bad.

"Anybody there?" She called out but it was all silent.

She couldn't hear anything.

She tried checking around but she had nothing on her.

"How did I even get here?" She asked to no one in particular.

"Is anybody there? Open up! Get me out of here! Anybody?" She called out but no one answered.

"She is awake! What do we do?" A man outside the room that Kate was locked in asked.

There were actually four men and a lady who looked like the badass type.

She stood folding her arms, one leg infront, eyes on the man talking.

Her name was Phoebe.

"Don't look at me, I didn't ask you to kidnap anyone" said one of the men and moved to take a seat just at the corner.

There was a wooden table with four chairs around it.

The man poured a glass of water, took a sip and then played games on his phone.

He looked away as if what the others were saying didn't concern him.

His name was Dylan Mathew, a robber, the mastermind of every robbery in town.

He had his three friends as his side kicks for every mission they did.

But that day, the three messed up.

"Don't look at me, you didn't tell me who the girl was and she looked rich and is from canada too. So I set my trap" said Phoebe and loved to sit next to Dylan.

"I know we made a mistake but what do we do?" The man asked again.

His name was Eliot while the other two were Nickson and Leone.

"Don't say we dude. You are the one who received the call of plane arrival and just asked us to help you kidnap the girl" said Nickson

"We don't even know why you kidnapped her in the first place" added Leone and Eliot was on his own.

"Why are you all escaping this? Our next target is the speaker right?" Asked Eliot feeling confused as Kate kept yelling.

"So what?" All except Dylan asked.

"So we kidnap his daughter from Canada and while they are looking for her, we rob him and then return his daughter" explained Eliot

"Since when did you become the plot master?" Phoebe asked and gave Eliot the 'really!' look.

"I just wanted to try" Eliot said head down.

"And you thought kidnap was the best way?" Leone asked

"Wait, we ain't kidnappers. We just rob and you know very well the type of people we rob from" added Nickson

"I just wanted to use it as a destruction. Well why did you choose to help me then?" Asked Eliot

"We all thought she was one of your exes and that you wanted to teach her a lesson, so we helped you" said Phoebe scratching her head while the others looked away.

"You thought what?" Eliot asked unbelievably.

"Well you just told us that the girl is arriving and that we should kidnap her. You didn't give more information. And remember what you told us about your ex Catherine? You said you will teach her a lesson if she comes back to the country. So we all thought it was her" added Nickson.

"I thought I could be Dylan for a day and show you that I can also do something big" Eliot said

"None of us can beat Dylan in his master plans. We all have our strengths" added Leone

"I'm sorry" Eliot said

"Its already done dude. We should think of what to do with the girl. She is yelling alot" said Nickson

"Your plan wasn't bad Eliot. You just rushed without checking your target's information. The person you were supposed to kidnap and the girl you kidnapped are both Kate. Just their surnames are different and they are both from Canada. The Speaker's daughter is 12 years old and she was with her mom at the airport. You missed just that" Dylan explained while still playing on the phone

"Oh" Eliot said feeling down and then Phoebe walked to him and placed her arm around him.

"It's done now Dylan. What do we do with the girl? Should we ask for a ransom?" She asked and all eyes were on her.

FALLING FOR HIM

Episode 1

After four years of being in Canada, Kate Martin was finally coming back home.

She had been away to further her university studies after passing her highschool examination with flying colours.

She was her father's favourite and also got the best from him.

Her three siblings never travelled that far even when they also passed so well.

She was the second last born, with a young brother as the last born.

His name was Millan.

He was three years younger than Kate.

Kate had an older sister and brother who went by the names Tessy and Andrew.

The two elder siblings were twins but Andrew was 10 minutes older.

They were both turning 29 soon and that was another reason for Kate coming back.

Andrew was already married to a very lovely lady by the name Rinna and she was 6 months pregnant.

They also had a 4 years old son by the name Collins.

Rinna was pregnant with him when Kate left the country.

Rinna was the daughter to a police commissioner in the department that Andrew worked in.

When the family heard that Kate was coming back, they all prepared to welcome her.

But Tessy wasn't happy about it.

She even wished that Kate would never come back home.

She had to pretend to be happy as she was cooking with her mom and Rinna.

Millan didn't go for his classes that day and accompanied Andrew to the airport.

Mr Martin said he had an important meeting in the company, but would be back before his daughter arrived from the airport.

"Finally i'm going to meet aunt Kate for the first time!" Collins said excitedly as he sat on the kitchen counter helping his grand mother to stir the soup.

He just loved being around his grandmother.

"Its not like you've not met her" said Rinna

"Mom it's different. Video call and being able to hug her is very different" he said making the women laugh.

"You are very right. I can't wait to hug her after 4 years" added Mrs Martin.

They were making meat and rice dishes which were Kate's favourite dishes.

The brothers arrived at the airport an hour before the plane landing.

They didn't care about waiting for that long.

The women in the family had also finished cooking and were waiting for Kate's arrival.

"Call me when she arrives" Tessy said as she picked her jacket to leave.

"Where are you going Tessy? Kate will be here in no time" Mrs Martin said

"I forgot to buy her a welcome gift. I'll be back before she does" shouted Tessy as she locked the door behind her.

"She loves her sister so much. Kate must have bought a gift for her too. That's what they always did whenever they travelled even for a day" Mrs Martin said in a smile and then checked her watch.

Finally the plane landed and Kate who was travelling business class stepped out after picking up her luggage.

She was dressed up in a brown sweat pant, white crop top, white sneakers and a brown jacket tied around her waist.

She walked majestically pulling her suitcase heading out, passed the security check and was now heading out.

Her brothers were patiently waiting while looking at the entrance.

Time flew by but the brothers didn't see any sign of Kate.

"I'll go in and ask if her plane was delayed. You wait here Millan" said Andrew and rushed in.

"Excuse me, has the plane from Canada landed?" He asked the receptionist.

"It landed about an hour ago sir and every passenger has evacuated the plane" said the receptionist and Andrew left after a thank you.

"This is weird! We've been looking at the entrance for so long. Did she go home already?" Asked Millan after Andrew explained the situation.

"Mom would've called us by now. Let me try to call Kate" said Andrew but her number was switched off.

"What do we do now?" Asked Millan

"You go home Millan, I'll ask for a permit to check the cctv footage to see if I can get any information. If she is home, call me immediately" said Andrew and Millan left.
