Asubuhi ya leo, Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Inspectorate ya Kaunti ya Kilifi, Bw. Karisa Mwaringa, alizindua zoezi la tathmini kwa watahiniwa wa mafunzo ya Uopoaji Majini (Lifeguard) katika Captain Andy's Indian Ocean Maritime Training Centre.
Zoezi hili linalenga kupima kiwango cha uwezo, ujuzi na utayari wa watahiniwa kabla ya wale watakaofaulu kuendelea na mafunzo rasmi ya Lifeguard.
Zaidi ya watahiniwa 40 wanashiriki katika tathmini hii, wakiwakilisha Maafisa wa Usalama wa Fukwe (Beach Safety Officers), Maafisa wa Usalama wa Mito (River Safety Officers), Walinzi wa Kujitolea wa Fukwe (Volunteer Lifeguards), pamoja na wanajamii.
Tunawatakia watahiniwa wote kila la heri wanapojitahidi kuonesha uwezo wao wa hali ya juu.
