UPDATES:: THE FUTURE PARTY SECRETARY-GENERAL PARTICIPATES IN ORPP CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON POLITICAL PARTIES FUND

The Secretary-General of The Future Party , Eric Wanyama today joined fellow Secretaries-General of funded political parties at a consultative meeting convened by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) in Nairobi.

The meeting focused on the allocation and administration of the Political Parties Fund (PPF) for the 2026/2027 Financial Year, with discussions emphasizing financial accountability, transparency, compliance with the Political Parties Act, and prudent management of public resources.

The Registrar of Political Parties urged all political parties to uphold the highest standards of accountability and proper financial reporting, noting that compliance remains essential for future fund allocations.

The consultative forum also highlighted the importance of promoting inclusive representation, civic education, policy development, and strengthening democratic governance through responsible utilization of the Political Parties Fund.

The Future Party remains committed to participating in institutional processes, respecting the law, and contributing to the growth of a transparent, accountable, and democratic political environment in Kenya.

THE FUTURE PARTY STATEMENT ON THE RISING CASES OF SCHOOL UNREST

The Future Party is deeply concerned by the increasing incidents of school unrest, strikes, destruction of property, and tragic loss of life being witnessed in some learning institutions across our country.

Schools are places of learning, growth, and preparation for the future. When classrooms are disrupted and school property is destroyed, it is not only institutions that suffer, but also students, parents, teachers, and the nation as a whole.

We call upon students to embrace dialogue, discipline, and peaceful ways of expressing their concerns. The future of our nation is in their hands, and their talents, dreams, and aspirations must never be put at risk through acts of violence or destruction.

We equally urge school administrations, parents, and education stakeholders to strengthen communication channels, listen to learners, and address emerging concerns before they escalate into crises.

To parents, we recognize the sacrifices you make to educate your children. We stand with you during these challenging times and encourage continued guidance and mentorship of our young people both at home and in school.
