KCRH Boosts Patient Care with Fresh Supply of Essential Linen and Theatre Wear
Tuesday, 21st April, 2026
Kitui County Referral Hospital (KCRH) has strengthened its capacity to deliver quality care following the procurement of essential hospital linen and theatre wear.
The supplies include cellular blankets, bed covers, duvets, bed sheets, baby wrappers, curtain rolls, and theatre crocs in assorted sizes. These additions are set to improve patient comfort and support smoother service delivery across key departments, especially maternity, newborn, and general wards.
With the facility serving a growing number of patients, the availability of adequate linen will enhance hygiene standards, ease pressure on existing resources, and improve efficiency in patient management. The inclusion of baby wrappers further boosts maternal and child health services, ensuring newborns receive better care from the moment they arrive.
This move reflects the Ministry of Health and Sanitation’s deliberate focus on fixing the basics that matter most in patient care. By steadily equipping facilities with essential supplies, the ministry is reinforcing its commitment to reliable, dignified, and quality healthcare, while steadily positioning KCRH to meet higher service standards for the people of Kitui County.
