I am delighted to see the completion of a modern storey classroom block at Kitondo Secondary School in Kiteta/Kisau Ward, a project that reflects our continued commitment to improving education standards across Mbooni.

The new facility has been constructed through the Mbooni NG-CDF and comes at a crucial time when student enrolment at the school continues to grow. By providing additional classroom space, we are creating a more conducive learning environment, reducing congestion, and ensuring our learners have the dignity and comfort they deserve as they pursue their education.

Kisau/Kiteta Ward continues to benefit from key development projects aimed at improving the lives of our people, and education remains one of our top priorities. The modern classroom block features spacious learning areas, proper ventilation, and adequate natural lighting, making it fully suitable for effective teaching and learning.

I firmly believe that every child in Mbooni deserves access to quality education and a safe environment in which to learn and grow. This project is another step towards fulfilling that vision and empowering our young people to achieve their full potential.

I remain committed to investing in school infrastructure, bursaries, and other education programmes that will continue transforming our schools and uplifting our communities.

Today, I joined the people of Mbooni in celebrating the 63rd Madaraka Day at Kako School Grounds in Waia/Kako Ward, during a colourful event presided over by the Mbooni East Deputy County Commissioner, Madam Monica Kang'ethe.

As we commemorated this important day in our nation's history, I honored the brave men and women whose sacrifice, courage and determination secured Kenya's self-rule, freedom and dignity. Their legacy continues to inspire us as we work towards building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

Madaraka Day reminds us that true freedom is not only about political independence, but also about creating opportunities for all, empowering our people economically, and ensuring that leadership remains accountable and focused on service to wananchi.

As your Member of the National Assembly, I remain committed to championing the welfare and development of every resident of Mbooni. I will continue working tirelessly to support initiatives that improve livelihoods, strengthen our communities, and create sustainable growth across our constituency.

I also call upon all residents of Mbooni to remain united and reject division, corruption, tribal politics, and leaders who only remember the people during election seasons. Together, let us build a peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous Mbooni for current and future generations.

I wish all Kenyans a happy, peaceful, and memorable 63rd Madaraka Day celebration.
Happy Madaraka Day 2026!

HAPPY MADARAKA DAY

"My dear people of Mbooni Constituency,
As we celebrate Madaraka Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the heroes who fought for self-rule, dignity, and freedom for our nation. Today reminds us that true independence is not only political freedom, but also economic empowerment, equal opportunity, and leadership that genuinely serves the people. We must continue defending our democracy and demanding accountability from every institution entrusted with public resources.

As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to championing the rights and development of every resident of Mbooni. Our people deserve better roads, reliable water, quality education, accessible healthcare, and meaningful opportunities for our youth and women. Leadership is not about empty promises or political slogans; it is about visible action, service delivery, and standing firmly with the people during both good and difficult times.

This Madaraka Day, let us reject division, corruption, tribal politics, and leaders who remember the people only during elections. The strength of Mbooni lies in our unity, hard work, and determination to secure a brighter future for our children. Together, we must continue speaking with one voice and protecting the interests of our farmers, traders, workers, students, and every hardworking family across the constituency.

“So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest…” – Galatians 6:9

"As we embrace this blessed Sunday, I encourage all of us—across families, communities, and the church—to remain steadfast in doing good. Whether it's in our homes, our places of work, or through service to our neighbors, let us never grow weary in sowing seeds of kindness, love, and unity.

Our journey may not always be easy, but the Word assures us that in due season, we shall reap the rewards of our labor. Let us continue to uplift one another, especially those within the household of faith, and be vessels of hope and transformation for Mbooni and beyond.

May this day be filled with peace, reflection, and a renewed commitment to serve with humility and compassion.

Happy Sunday and God bless you all.

*ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND REHABILITATION OF NGOLUNI - KAVINGO - THWAKE - KALAWA - KWA KILIU - KYAANI ROAD*

Fellow residents of Kako/Waia and Kalawa wards of Mbooni Constituency, I am delighted to announce the successful completion of heavy grading and murraming works on the Ngoluni - Kavingo - Thwake Road and the Thwake - Kalawa - Kwa Kiliu - Kyaani Road.

These important infrastructure projects mark a significant step in improving accessibility, enhancing transport, and opening up our communities for greater economic opportunities. Our commitment remains focused on ensuring that every part of our constituency benefits from better and reliable road networks.

The improved roads will greatly ease movement for farmers, traders, students, boda boda operators, and all road users within the areas.

During rainy seasons, many families have experienced challenges accessing markets, schools, and health facilities due to poor road conditions. With the completion of these works, we expect smoother transport, reduced travel time, and improved connectivity between villages and trading centres.

I sincerely thank the residents of Ngoluni, Kavingo, Thwake, Kalawa, Kyaani, and the surrounding areas for their patience, cooperation, and continued support throughout the implementation of these projects.
I also appreciate the engineers, contractors, and all stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure quality and timely completion of these roads.

Development is only possible when leaders and citizens work together with a shared vision for progress.
As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to delivering meaningful development projects that improve the lives of our people.

Roads are key drivers of growth, and we shall continue to lobby for more resources to upgrade infrastructure, improve water access, education, healthcare, and empower our youth and women. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected, and prosperous Mbooni Constituency.

MBOONI FARMERS REAP BIG

I am pleased to inform the residents of Mbooni Constituency that through our continued partnership with the National Irrigation Authority, we have successfully completed the digging of 60 out of the targeted 120 water ponds across Kiteta/Kisau and Tulimani in our constituency after successfully completing 135 water ponds in Kalawa Ward.

This initiative is aimed at improving water access, supporting irrigation, and enhancing food security for our people, especially during periods of low rainfall.

The communities of Kiambwa and Kakuswi sub-locations are already benefiting greatly from these water ponds. Farmers are now able to access water for small-scale irrigation, livestock keeping, and domestic use, helping to strengthen livelihoods and increase agricultural productivity.

This progress demonstrates our commitment to practical development projects that directly improve the lives of wananchi.

I sincerely thank the National Irrigation Authority, local leaders, community members, and all stakeholders who have supported this important program. Your cooperation and dedication have made it possible for us to achieve this milestone. Together, we are building a more resilient and prosperous Mbooni Constituency.

The remaining 60 water ponds will be dug during the dry season in August and September 2026 to ensure efficiency and successful implementation of the works. We remain fully committed to completing the entire project and ensuring that more communities continue to benefit from improved water access and sustainable agricultural development.

As we gather this Sunday to worship and reflect, may we be reminded that God never abandons His people even in difficult seasons. Challenges may come, but the Lord remains our guide, provider and source of strength.

The book of *Isaiah 58:11* assures us:
_‘The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.’_

May this powerful promise renew our faith and encourage every family across Mbooni to remain steadfast, hardworking and prayerful. Better days are ahead for all who trust in God.

Wishing you all a peaceful, blessed and joyful Sunday.”
