Real development is felt in the lives of the people it serves. In Nyabasi East Ward, Kuria East Sub-County, the ongoing maintenance of the Nyakehomo–Nyamagenga Road is opening new possibilities through improved connectivity, smoother movement, stronger community interaction, and greater opportunities for local enterprise.
Under the purposeful leadership of H. E. Governor Dr. Ochilo Ayacko, Migori County continues to turn development commitments into visible action. The Gosebe/Nyabikondo Water Supply and Sanitation Project is progressing well, with the construction of a 200-cubic-metre water storage facility underway at St Joseph Ntimaru senior school and the expansion of Gosebe Dam also in progress.

This important project will enhance water supply in Ntimaru Town and improve last-mile water connectivity across the entire community, ensuring more residents have access to clean and reliable water.

The project also aligns with the development pillars outlined in the manifesto of Hon. Marwa Maisori Kitayama CBS to the people of Kuria East Constituency, reaffirming his commitment to improving essential services and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

Kuria West and Kuria East belong to all of us. Our leaders may come from different clans, backgrounds and communities, but once elected or appointed to serve, they become leaders of everyone.

Let us move away from the habit of judging a leader simply by where he or she comes from. Instead, let us ask:
1. What has this leader done for the people?
2. Does the leader listen to everyone?
3.Does the leader promote unity and peace?
4. Can we see tangible development and service to the people?
5. Does the leader represent the interests of the entire constituency fairly?
Our clans should not divide us. Our leaders should unite us.
