The Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman), led by the Chairman, Charles Dulo today paid a courtesy call to the County Assembly of Migori and were warmly received by the Speaker; Hon. Christopher Odhiambo Rusana.
The Commission commended the County of Migori for the progress made in promoting administrative justice, transparency, accountability, and the constitutional right to access information.
The discussions focused on improving service delivery in public institutions, strengthening accountability systems, addressing public complaints promptly, and protecting citizens from maladministration, abuse of office, and unfair treatment.
The Office of the Ombudsman continues to play a critical role in ensuring that wananchi receive fair treatment and efficient services from public institutions.
Today’s engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment to building institutions that are transparent, people-centered, and guided by professionalism, integrity, and respect for the rule of law.
As a County Assembly, we remain committed to supporting reforms that enhance good governance and ensure every citizen receives fair, efficient, and accountable services.
