On behalf of the Hon. Members and staff of the Migori County Assembly, and on my own behalf, I extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and the people of Kenya on the passing of the Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, EGH, a visionary statesman, reformist, and patriot whose life and service profoundly shaped our nation.

The late Prime Minister was a man of great courage, wisdom, and conviction — a leader who dedicated his life to the ideals of democracy, justice, and unity. His voice became the conscience of the nation, speaking boldly for the oppressed, defending the rule of law, and promoting equity and inclusivity in governance.

As a visionary leader and unifying force, he believed in dialogue and reconciliation as the true pathways to peace. As a reformer, he championed constitutional and institutional change, laying a foundation for the Kenya we are proud of today. As a diplomatic statesman, he represented our country with honor, humility, and clarity of purpose, earning respect across Africa and beyond.

The late Rt. Hon. Odinga leaves behind a legacy of integrity, resilience, and patriotic devotion — values that will continue to inspire generations of leaders to serve with purpose and principle. His dream of a united, just, and prosperous Kenya remains our collective responsibility to uphold.

To the bereaved family, we convey our heartfelt sympathy and prayers. May the Almighty grant you strength and comfort during this difficult time.

On behalf of the Migori County Assembly, we celebrate the life of a true son of Kenya — a man whose legacy will forever remain etched in our hearts and in the annals of our national history.

May your legacy inspire future generations; your noble soul rest in eternal peace.
