Changamwe NG-CDF Public Participation – Successfully Concluded!

We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of our 3-day Public Participation Forum, held across all five wards of Changamwe Constituency, with today's final session at Changamwe Ward.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Changamwe for your active participation, insightful contributions, and valuable input throughout this engagement. Your voice remains central to shaping a development agenda that truly reflects the needs of our community.

As we look ahead to the 2026–2028 Financial Year, we remain committed to full and effective implementation of the projects and programs identified, ensuring 100% delivery for the benefit of every resident.

DAY 2 DOWN – CHANGAMWE NG-CDF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION 2026-2028

What a fantastic Day 2!

We kicked off at Airport Ward, where residents cheerfully shared their views on the developments they want to see in Financial Year 2026-2028.

We then moved to Kipevu Ward, closing the day on a real banger!

Special thanks to our Chairman Mr. Khalid Kabanda, our Fund Manager Abdulhakim Ali, and the entire CDF & Constituency Staff for their excellent coordination in making this a truly successful engagement.

Empowering Our Top Achievers

In our continued journey toward education transformation, we proudly hosted a Top Achievers Students' Event, bringing together over 700 outstanding students from across our constituency.

The event created a platform for knowledge-sharing and mentorship, featuring esteemed guest speakers Sen. Jackson Mandago and Sen. Mohamed Faki, alongside our Chief Guest, Mr. Shadrack M. Mwadime, MBS, Principal Secretary, State Department for Labour and Skills Development.

As part of our commitment to supporting these bright young minds, we presented a cheque of KES 2,936,000 towards the constituency's school fees bursary program — an investment in the future of our students and our nation.

We remain dedicated to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for our youth to thrive.

We have ended our 3 Days Team Building Event in a special manner .

We have sharpened our capabilities and workability in ensuring enhancement of super performance to our citizentry at our NG-CDF Changamwe .

Special thanks to our CDFC Team being led by the Chairman Mr.Khalid Kabanda , together with our NG-CDF Staffs being led by the project Coordinator Mr Sammy Omondi who cooperated to the latter for a smooth and Successful Event .

Another Appreciation to Mr Kipkoech Labatt the (DCC Changamwe )for great life advice and delivering the best Opening and Closing Remarks .

We started our Team Building activity upon arrival to our destination in Voi Taita Taveta County .

The Forum has been attended by Our NG CDF Changamwe Staffs together with CDFC committee who have undergone a day one knowledge engagement about official duties .

Our first speaker was Mr .Mboya the District Accountant who took us through
FINANCE MATTER s in
-Budget Allocation ,
-Project implementation status. Recommendations on ways to develop our Community

The Second Speaker of the Day was Mr Khalid Kababda (The CDFC chairman ) who elaborated clearly on the
CHEQUES Procedures
-Cheques Issuance
-Risks assiciared with administration and recurrent vote.
