It was an honor to join the people of Mwatate in celebrating the 63rd Madaraka Day at Mwatate Secondary School led by the Deputy County Commissioner Mr. Kennedy Luenyi.

The official launch of the Singila Majengo Water Project means our people will now access clean water at only KSh 5 per 20-litre jerrican, down from KSh 50, while also reducing the distance many families have had to walk in search of this basic necessity.

I thank Teita Sisal Estate, Wildlife Works, Elephant Corporation, Sisters of Mercy and all stakeholders who joined hands to make this project a success.

Development is meaningful when it directly improves the lives of wananchi. As Mdumiki, I remain committed to championing projects that bring lasting change to every corner of Mwatate Constituency.

The work continues.

Bura Mission – Mrughua – Mgange Road is rapidly transforming. What was once a difficult route through the hills is now becoming a smooth and reliable road for our people.

This road will never be the same again. Progress is visible. Development is real.
