STORY TIME
ONCE UPON A TIME…

In a small village called Kiamaina, there lived a man named Njoroge, who had one big dream:

To become rich without working. 😂

Every morning, Njoroge would wake up at 10 a.m., stretch himself, look at the ceiling and say,

“Today is the day my life will change.”

Then he would sleep for another two hours.

His wife, Wanjiku, was tired of him.

One morning she asked,

“Njoroge, when exactly are you planning to become rich?”

Njoroge smiled confidently.

“Very soon. I am waiting for my breakthrough.”

Wanjiku looked at him from head to toe.

“Your breakthrough has been waiting for YOU since 2015!” 😂

One afternoon, Njoroge heard a rumor that a wealthy businessman from Nairobi was visiting the village looking for someone trustworthy.

Njoroge immediately put on his best suit, borrowed shoes from his neighbor and went to meet him.

The businessman asked,

“What can you do?”

Njoroge proudly replied,

“I can do anything.”

“Can you farm?”

“Yes.”

“Can you drive?”

“Yes.”

“Can you manage a business?”

“Yes.”

“Can you cook?”

“Yes.”

The businessman looked impressed.

“Excellent! I need a personal assistant.”

Njoroge almost jumped.

“Sir, when do I start?”

“Tomorrow morning. But there's one condition.”

“What condition?”

“You must be at my office by 7 a.m.”

Njoroge froze.

“Seven?”

“Yes.”

Njoroge cleared his throat.

“Sir… is that 7 a.m. Kenyan time or 7 a.m. serious time?” 😂😂

The businessman laughed.

“7 a.m. sharp!”

The next morning, Njoroge arrived at exactly 7:03.

The businessman looked at his watch.

“You're late.”

Njoroge smiled.

“No, sir. I'm early.”

“Early?”

“Yes. I was supposed to arrive at 7:30, but I came at 7:03.”

The businessman shook his head.

“You are going to give me problems.”

Njoroge replied,

“Don't worry, sir. Problems are my specialty.” 😂

After a few weeks, something strange happened.

The businessman disappeared.

Nobody knew where he had gone.

Before leaving, however, he had told Njoroge:

“If

Every morning, James saw the same woman at the bus stop.
They never spoke.
One rainy morning, he finally offered her his umbrella.
She smiled.
“Thank you.”
That was the beginning.
They started talking every day.
Years passed. They got married and had two children.
One day, James asked her:
“Why did you accept my umbrella that first day?”
She smiled through tears.
“Because I had been waiting for you to notice me for six months.”
James laughed.
“Six months?”
She nodded.
“Sometimes love is standing right in front of you, waiting for you to take the first step.”

Every night, Brian texted Mary, “Goodnight, my love.”
One evening, Mary replied, “Promise you’ll never leave me.”
Brian smiled and typed, “Never.”
The next morning, Mary woke up to dozens of missed calls from Brian's number—but it was his mother calling.
Brian had died in an accident that night.
Months later, Mary still kept their conversations. Then, one evening, she opened their chat and typed:
“I miss you.”
A few seconds later, her phone displayed:
“Typing…”
Her heart stopped.
Then a message appeared:
“I told you I'd never leave you. ❤️”
She looked at the screen in tears.
It was an old scheduled message Brian had programmed before his death.
Sometimes love doesn't disappear.
It simply finds another way to say goodbye.
