Kagoech Foundation Trust, which is the successor umbrella body for Kagoech Community Sports Association, is anchored on results being achieved in four areas namely, poverty alleviation, environmental conservation, women and youth development and empowerment and peace building in the region and the country at large. It is motivated by the collective aspiration for a much better society. Initially f
ounded in 2007 as a sports and cultural outfit, its primary goal was to promote athletics and football among other games in the constituency. Along side its primary aim, practical concern for the needs of the people regardless of status, sex or age could not be ignored, thus the structure was quickly expanded and subsequently the organization became a vehicle for the community to develop proper fundamental skills and allow for maximum development leading to success both on and off the field. We aim to achieve and to generate more resources to address the issues of wealth creation, employment generation, environmental conservation, women and youth engagement, we also seek to create just, cohesive and equitable social development in a clean and secure environment. One of the key interventions is our determination to prepare and to have four pillars under the Kagoech Foundation Trust namely
Kagoech Community Sports Association
Kagoech Resource Centre
Kagoech Environmental programme. Under each of these pillars, flagship projects to be implemented have been identified for implementation. Our long history and the associated steadily growth have also marked us out as an organization which has stood the test of time whilst remaining true to our mission.
