May I guide you in some Social Media safety kindly.
1. Change your Password frequently.
2. During login, never tell computer to remember your password
3. Go to settings and change your setting so that no one will post on your wall. I don't allow anyone to post on my wall except my Birthday. That way I will not be surprised by explicit materials on my wall.
4. On setting, change your setting so that no one will tag you without your approval. That way you will not be tagged in dirty materials.
5. Change your setting so that no one will tag the photos or videos you upload.
6. Avoid, marking your locations on the post. There are people who are fond of saying....with blah blah at blah blah places. Any thief would be interested in knowing where you are in they want to break in. Am not fan of checking in on my post. If I am gathering intelligence, I will easily tell write your journey easily by going on your timeline.
7. If you are out for a holiday, take photos but post them after you are back home. I always post photo after events. If you post photos while vacating in Mombasa or Naivasha, you are just telling us no one is home.
8. I see no need of posting so much about your kids on social media. Their full names, where they go to school, to church their age and all those. I can easily profile a kid for kidnapping from that.
9. Whatever you post on the social media can land you on the wrong side of the law. Avoid especially where you are picking issues with people and posting them on social.
