The Director RPL Delivery Unit- Stanley Maindi, represented the PS TVET Dr Esther Muoria During the 2nd Graduation Ceremony for Mayianat Indigenous Youth Life Skills,Arts & Culture Development Centre at Doldol - Laikipia North.

The centre is funded by IMPACT- Kenya a non Governmental Organisation that supports Pastoralusts and other marginalised indigenous Communities for a sustainable future.

A total of 159 graduands were assessed through the RPL process under the stewardship of Laikipia North TVC. They were certified by the Nyeri National Polytechnic.
Present were Area MP Hon Sarah Korere, Regional Director TVET Peter Kaume, Nyeri NP Chief Principal Mrs Recho Njeri, Principal Laikia N TVC Mr. Maina Njane among others.

"Learning takes place everywhere, but not all learning is reflected in academic credentials."

Speaking during the 4th International Research Conference on Transforming TVET in Kenya for Market-Ready Skills, Employability, and Sustainable Development, Director RPL, Stanley Maindi, underscored the importance of recognizing skills acquired through work and life experience.

He noted that the RPL policy bridges the gap between skills and qualifications by identifying, assessing, and certifying competencies, ensuring that skilled individuals gain the recognition they deserve and enhancing their employability.
